Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum taught you from the basics and practical application. It had language as a subject and groom the students in improving the communication skills. There were better equiped labs that taught students applying their theory knowledge in to practice.

Most of the big manufacturers used to recruit their engineers from the college. It has a well industry connected placement cell. Even Government institutions used to conduct the recruitment drive

College Events

Bus Day, cultural day, college day, sports day, inter college competitions. I they were vibrant and provided interaction with more students from different colleges. It had musical night programs where student displayed their musical skills. Most of the functions were for male students only in those times during my studies

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a Government College it had very nominal fee structure. We were charged only Rs. 45 for each year. The professors were prescribing books that are precise to the curriculum that was taught in the college. The books were also very affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I did not opt for any loans as the fees was very less. It's less than rupees 5.00 per month. One can apply for scholarships directly to the State and Central government schemes.

Campus Life

It was mens college. It had all the sports activities, including cricket as it had huge cricket ground. It had fully equiped indoor games as well. I used to represent my college in Table Tennis and won many state awards in inter college competitions.

Hostel Facilities

No. I was a day scholar. My house was located around 10kms from the college. The bus passes were heavily subsidiesd. We used to pay only Rs. 36 every month for the bus pass. There were also 60 tokens that could be used for travel on any location to any location within the city

Alumni/Alumna

There is an Alumni group. Not so active. It had mostly full time and part time students of the past batches.

Admission

The selection is based purely On Merit Basis. There are no entrance examinations. There are also quota based on caste system. It also had quota for differently abled, physically challenged students. There used to be 4 rounds of merit lists. Normally if one secures 85% and above in SSLC should be able to get a seat on Merit

Faculty

It had fully equiped labs that had helped the students to prepare well for the future. The professors were very helpful and processed great knowledge in the subjects they teach. They were also very experienced in teaching. The professors were even consulted by industries for resolving their problems.

Rmk collegeof engineering and technology has strong placement with excellent percentage. They will train you from 1st year for the placement. The average package is 5-6Lakhs per annum.and the highest pacakge is 66 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

My safe place

I believe that our college give a best placement ever because it is a Central institute college and of course, we can easily enter into the government jobs and they literally provide good placements with a good salary and the average salary in our college will be like 4 to 5 lakhs and also we have internship facilities. In our own colleges, we know need to roam around the city for internship. And we also have ARC TS the programme which is a big building where I experiments and testing will be happening and we can lively see how the plastics are being manufactured produced being moulded and being served as a final product also from the. Scars to the end, we can see everything. Practical view is the most sensitive view. We can easily grab our knowledge with and why I got rejectionaries because of the cut off maths which I got I bought only 149, which was not sufficient for me to go into Anna University. My first college was Anna University and the same college was also announced later technology. Third was my college, a manufacturing engineering and the fort was my course plastic technology. The first 3 was rejected because of my cut off marks. But then I don't care about that because now I am getting placed in a good college and I'm going to be playing placed good in my career also....Read More
