Remarks

College is good. It is an ecocampus. Assignments are done on PC and save trees slogan is on.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is like a 4 month. With some internal tests and end sem exam. Tests are useful to recall what we've studied. Within course you need some general skills. like physics and chemistry for first year. Math is like a shadow. Will never leave us. But it's staffs hard work that pays off.

Placement Experience

4.5

I'm currently in 2 year so may not be aware of it. But some of interns working in college detailed about their internship. They were all feeling good about it. Many companies like IBM, unity, and many more visit campus for internships.

College Events

4

Our college celebrated national science day, IBM day, and many more functions organized by students. Two campuses are joined and therefore we celebrate each others annual functions and there are no restrictions from college. Aarambh which is college's main event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Seems to be expensive if compared with other Vishwakarma institutions. VIIT has annual fee of 102000. And Vishwakarma university has 250000. But seems worth sometime if you see for IBM tracks. If you do IBM course externally it would cost somewhat same. Within university they provide good staff, utilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

No college didn't provide any scholarships. Neither I have been opted for any educative loan. For foreign studies I would require.

Campus Life

4.5

Ratio of boys w.r.t girls is quite high. Maybe girls may not seem to be interested in this course. College has annual functions, competitions, and extracurricular activities. They're good enough to get a fresh mind out of studies. We have unity classes which are out of syllabus but good for game development.

Hostel Facilities

2

No I don't have to get a hostel. I stay in same city and nearby as well. My friends live in hostel. Hostels are sharing. 3 in a room. Rooms are quite good if compared to others. But the food can never be good.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors help us everytime asked. They don't share answers but let you get some methods to solve the problem.

Admission

Admission is like interview type. You head up to admission office and they ask for your marks and if you're eligible you're selected right away. Admission processes starts in month of June. If you have given exams like jee or Cet it would be much beneficial

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is helpful and friendly. They don't bother their time. They help without any means. They will stay extra time and be there for you if needed. They are good mentors as well. They never finish the subject if anyone has some doubts. They try hard to take extra lecture.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. I am in cybersecurity specialization and there are only 2 subjects(starting from 2nd year) related to cybersecurity.and those courses are good but the faculty teaching them arent that great. they just read out the ppts, which they dont even share.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

That aspect that made me choose this course that the it very oriented with the project based learning which prepare students for the industry level knowledge and ready for the job . It really prepare for the real world problem which are needed in the industry. Some improvements can also be added as the era is of AI the curriculum can be shaped based on the AI for future proof. The frequency of the exam is every 6 months it is very good to have exams every 6 months as students get to check their knowledge on timely basis the difficultly level is manageable.

Semester 7 is when the placement season starts, and sem 5 onwards you can appear for internship season. The highest package goes in crores but mostly in cse department, others not IT jobs have reletively lower packages avarage being 20 LPA. Almost 60 percent and above students get placed in my guess. I am planning to work in a chemical process design firm.
