Faculty is amongst the coolest and nicest group I have ever seen.

This curriculum is all about the electrical power which is most basic need of every individual on this planet. Curriculum groomed a very good industry-specific knowledge which helped most of the students securing campus placements. Industrial visits were also organised.

GIT holds the maximum placements in compared to other colleges in district. Many IT companies like TCS, tech Mahindra, cognizant, etc including mercedes benz hold campus placements. All the staff helps every student to gain a better experience through internship by helping them a finding a right one.

Technical festivals from every department of engineering and MBA are organised every year which includes technical events like debate, projects exhibition, robo-war, PPT. Biggest cultural festival in north Karnataka is the Aura which is a 3 day celebrated college fest.

A feasible fee structure is provided and scholarship to merit students is also provided. All modern payment mode is accepted. Transperancy of fee is provided. There are no additional fees or charges is used to secure an admission to the course. Fee structure vary based on admission done by different entrance exam.

Scholarship like fee concession scholarship for OBC, e-pass for OBC, KMDC loan under ARIVU scheme, all nationalized and non-nationalized banks provide loans.

It is tried to maintain equal gender ratio. Student parties are organised for freshers and passing out parties for the final year students is organised every. Also, a convocation ceremony is celebrated department wise as well as a common convocation ceremony is arranged.

All students have a good binding with seniors. Every year alumni meet is organised for a batch where all meet and bring back the memories.

GIT is the top college in north Karnataka. After writing DCET exam and according to the ranking admission process was started at GIT by distributing the admission forms. After the distribution of admission forms allocation of seats in respective divisions was mentioned.

There are around 7-8 engineering dept with on an average 2 divisions every department has a HOD, around 20-25 teaching staff, 8-10 non-teaching staff, 2-4 PhD holding professors, and many staff persuing PhD. The management level is also supportive in many ways like, sponsoring for projects, college fest and events.
