Remarks

The Oxford College of Engineering is one best colleges in Bangalore. People are cooperative. The people and teachers are friendly. And there's a notion of anti-ragging, that's a good move according to me. Even the seniors are friendly and helpful. Teachers are amazing at teaching and even there are a lot of other curricular activities which is so fun.

The faculty system was quite good. English Hons. The faculty did support all the students and helped us even in our tiniest of doubts. Academically, the college is well-reputed. And even the college focuses on other extracurricular activities too.

The placements are quite well off. Job opportunities are quite well because the marks of the students are generally good. Teachers pay good attention to the students and are helped a lot through the process.

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination
