Remarks

Farook college have good cultural background.This is a college started by Abussabah maulavi for the empowerment of muslim community. So still the culture and decipline is maintain unchanged.

Course Curriculum Overview

As autonomous college,they will have strictly scheduled dates for completion of modules,internal exams cat 1,cat 2 ( Regular time table oriented )and main exams.Each student have seperate user id and by login into that account student getting their results.Privacy is secured. College conducts exhibitions,international seminars,workshops departmentalwise.Each department conducts 10days industrial visits.

International chemistry seminars are conducted every year. Wipro company placements And several workshops and seminars are conducting.

1)Union inaguration and Fine arts day inaguration in same day by famous celebrities.student union decides the celebreties and fund collection. 2)College day: The college day celebrations are grant.Departmentwise dresscodes.hostel groups,Day scholar team competitions 3)Freshers day programmes are usually celebrated by departmental wise 4)set off celebrations Are given by juniors to seniors.

No fee required other than exam fee.still minorities,BPL students,and students of poor annual income will get fee concession completely. They provide several scholarships(higher education scholarships,muslim merit scholarships,post metric scholarships )

Farook college have vast campus,good infra structure and playground for interzone,Bzone.Farookcollege always show their excellence in academic as well as extracurricular activities like sports,arts and other programmes by students and teachers.sports quota students also have good platform in farookcollege to show their exellence. Farook college have NSS programmes and otger social service schemes.Total improvement programme is conducted(3 day free camp).students are provided remedial coatching classes

Hostel Facilities

As am a neighbour to the college I was a day scholar.Two main hostel buildings there (SS hostel) and (Zahira hostel).Every students enjoyed their hostel life.They are provided food regular time and have good infrastructure and good security by hostel wardens and bystanders

Farookcollege has s very strong Alumni network callef FOSA.The programmes of FOSA conducting every year.Alumni union providing alot of fund to the college for its excellence.

1)Chemistry is my subject of interest 2)Farookcollege is an aided autonomous college under muslim management.I got management seat by transfering procedures. 3)Admission procedure:you should apply online when they publish notification in farookcollege website and then according to merit,they will shortlist the name of students in each department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers.
