Remarks

I have learnt is you have to be very active in the college not only academically but socially.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

For calculating results 40% of internals and 60% of externals are considered. Students are required to maintain minimum attendance of 75% to be eligible to give exams. There are 6 semester (4 months each semester). If a student fails in one semester he or she can reappear for the same as a backlog paper in the next semester.

Placement Experience

4

The last year statistics tell the placement percentage of our college is 94%. We had 3 of the big four companies onboard last year.

College Events

4.5

There are various clubs like symposia, drama club, dance, entrepreneur cell, think tank etc. Student need to quality an interview by the heads of the respective clubs to be a part of it. The cultural fest of our college is SYMPULSE with is the biggest fest in pune.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I am not very sure of the fees structure but it includes tuition fees and all. Fees for the NRIs and management quota is higher than the fees paid by Indian students who qualified through normal procedure. There are no addition fee or charges for the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any scholarships or education loan. However there are some quotas like sports, army, etc which can help in deduction of fees.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio is almost even. The girls hostel is very convenient and at best location. There is an annually fest held by our college called SYMPULSE. It is a five day fest organised by the students in January. It is the biggest fest in pune and it allows interaction with lots of other students, companies and colleges.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes I have opted for the college hostel. The room are pretty big and we'll furnished. The hostel staff is very hardworking and helpful. Mess food was never a problem. They provide food 4 times a day and have a lot of variety.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and interactive. There are no ranging incidents in our college. Seniors are your head for every committee but they are very approachable.

Admission

First you have to clear the SET with required marks. Students who clear SET are called for personal interview and written ability test. For the written ability test you are given a topic on the stop and you have to write a page on that topic. Then the results are announced based on both the rounds.

Faculty

4

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are okay and mid. Don't expect higher packages like over 7 LPA; the highest was, I think, 6 LPA. Most are campus placements, and the companies coming in are mid-tier too. Not expecting much from here, though.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

I am interested in the banking and finance since 11th because of my good accounts in this college I am able to learn the different aspects of banking and finance the college also held some mentoring about the course and career guidance. One thing I don't like is the test they took every time when one lesson got finish they took the test and us that any of the test will consider as internal and just before the exam they give so many projects and assignments and also tell us to complete the book then only they will give the internal marks and allow to write the external

Campus placements are done after the completion of the third year. Many companies come to the campus for the placement procedure. 85% of students get placed, and the remaining will always get placed out of the campus because a degree from NMIMS has a very huge value out in India.
