My Review

Very good college but very strict like a school. I went to a school which was very lenient so found it difficult to adjust in the beginning.

Excellent teachers with very good laboratories. Educational tours were there. Now they are having industrial visits campus recruitment.Now there is a career guidance room with a teacher who assists in getting internship factory visits attending seminars etc.

We did not have during our time but now they have a teacher to take care of recruitment, placements etc.

Every month there would be a cultural or intercollegiate festival sponsored by the college which the participating colleges also would reciprocate. Made a lot of friends from other colleges especially girls as ours was a boy's only college upto graduation and coed for postgraduate courses. Now the whole college is coed.

The first shift is government aided so very reasonable. The second shift is self financing so expensive. First shift is only merit as government gives aid to help such students. Preference is given to old students children and to Catholics. College is very transparent and even self financing they give account for everything.

Scholarships are available for brilliant students especially state first, district first, school first etc. That would take care of,90 percent of the expenses.

Our time it was boys only. They came from all over the state and country,we had a few international students also. The boys from the districts were chosen for their ability in sports and were given free boarding and lodging in addition to fee exemption.

I didn't stay in the hostel but rooms are sharing mostly 2 to a room. Large windows provide good ventilation toilets are seperate so people go very early to avoid the rush. Food is good and can be had during specific timings only.

Very helpful The Principal himself is the Alumni officer assisted by the President, Secretary and other office bearers.

Filled in application form, got interview call letter after interview selected, asked to pay fees. Consideration is given to Catholics and backward communities. If a student is from a Catholic school then they get preferential treatment. Letter from the Bishop also considered.

Very well qualified and accessible teachers, always available for help be it in theory or practical. Some of the them were old students also. The students who want to take teaching as a career are encouraged in this institution. Equal attention is given to sports also as they believe in all round development. Very large campus with seperate fields for hockey, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton etc.
