Remarks

Bad remarks there's restrictions on girls though it's good too but sometimes it doesn't feel nice to be like that. Attendance criteria and assignments no one like these things. Good remark, really work hard for us, our placement, better environment, better way of reaching and teaching and a lot others. It's a better College than many in NCR including Delhi, better placements and environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is UGC based since this is an UGC AICTE affiliated university. Now from last 3 years we have specialization courses like Cyber Security, Data Science, Cloud Computing and Machine Learning. First year went well with basic subjects like chemistry, physics, engineering mathematics, mechanics, mechanical engineering, english and one programming language in each semester, these classes are completely collaborated with labs i.e. practical knowlegde. Curriculum of 1st year is not at very high level still I think it's enough. 2nd year onwards, curriculum is fully tight with all the technical subjects and programming languages. Curriculum is relevant and useful, besides this the best thing is we have Immersion classes at the end of 3rd year before the starting of placements and coding classes from 2nd year onwards for preparation of placements.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements for B.tech course is really good and for computer science branch it is awesome. Average package this year is 5.3 lakhs per annum. For others too, placement is good like for MBA and other courses. Companies like Microsoft, Accenture, MuSigma, Juspay, Capegemini, Wipro, Kony India, Medlife, Tech System, Gemini, GS labs, Sofia Steria, and many more good companies and these companies provide a real good package.

College Events

3.5

When it comes to the events organized in the campus, they are good in number and normal in quality, there are some technical, cultural and management festival. We have many clubs including e-cell, IEEE WIE, Abacus, CodeBusters and many others, these clubs organized many technical events like Ted-X(many famous people have come in this), technical fate, webinars, workshops. We have a good number of fun events like DJ nights, placement party, fresher's party, farewell party, EDM night, cultural nights, music band eve and some others.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is normal not low though. College accepts all type of payments, extra fees is of normal security charges about 5000-7000 which are said to be returned at the time of degree collection (not to secure admission). Yes, college provides transparency in fee breakdown, like exam fee, academic and others. Our year paid 1.45lakh, 1.48lakh, 1.50 lakh, and 1.51 lakh in respective years. But specialization costs little more but college provides scholarships of 33000rs for the students who have above 80% in 12th for the first year and if you maintain your academic score above 8.25 then you will continue in your scholarship of same amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

Firstly I got scholarship of amount 33000 for marks in 12th, then we can apply for UP government scholarship with the help of the college and I did apply and many others do get benefitted with this scholarship every year. Criteria for college scholarship is 80%+ in 12th of amount 33000 for first year and then maintain 8.25 cgpa to continue the scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is normal, don't expect things like in any metropolitan city's college types there coz it's not one. They maintain restrictions and rules there about everything, cameras are there actually everywhere in the campus including lifts.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, I opted for hostel, I have been there for the whole college time and first year hostel is separate from the B.Tech student's hostel and 2 non technical student's hostel and this is for famale students, there are many hostels for male students both AC and non AC, single and shared, wings and normal hostels.Since campus area is about 110 acres we have a good area in hostels with gardens around and separated mess for each hostel. Girls hostel have shared rooms no single room there, rooms are double and triple seated. No there's no shortage of seats in hostel no need of PGs.

Alumni/Alumna

A good alumni network is established along with a team working on that area. Environment is friendly but obviously seniors or alumni in fact this is with every person, the interaction depends on those two people who are interacting. But in context to this question yes I had a good experience in this field, I have been with many seniors in clubs and events, i learned some good skills.

Admission

To take admission in the institution, we need to clear a personal entrance exam of theirs. I always have interest in computer science field so I decided to take admission in this course, after not being able to take admission in any good NIT with computer science field, I go for a search of a good level college, finally found out about GLA University, this is a college with good campus area, environment and placement. To take admission in this institute, one need to clear the test which started in month of july and then the results will tell whether one got the chance or not. Test is an online and time based test of physics, chemistry, maths, quants and English.

Faculty

4

Honestly speaking, facilities are damn helpful, the college provides a friendly relationship between students and faculty. They are good at knowledge and experiences along with this there's a nice hierarchy level in them. We have Hods, year coordinators and advisors. They are good at suggestions like about projects, internships, how to prepare for a better job and many more. We have 5 days a week classes, lectures vary in numbers but 4 lectures per subject of credit 4 and three lectures of credit 3. We have assignments and quizes during classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
