My college is good but it can be better with some improvements.

The course curriculum is good with an equal focus on theory and practicals. The practical syllabus needs to be updated but one can learn a new programming language on his/her own. The teachers also encourage them to learn new in-demand languages. The course is fairly research-driven.

The placement cell at BHU organizes a workshop on Mentoring Expectations & Developing Competencies, training Program for SC/ST, OBC, Disability, Minority unemployed Graduate /Post Graduate Students, the workshop on "Emerging Dimensions of the Global Economy and the Career Prospects of Young Professionals and many such workshops.

Fees are feasible. It is not very high and one can deposit it by cash, card, DD, or any other platform. One has to pay tuition fees and other fees that include infrastructure fees like wifi, library, hostel facilities, mess fee is deposit able to the mess owner directly on a daily or monthly basis.

Yes.BHU is a fully residential University with a total of 62 hostels - 41 hostels for male and 21 hostels for female students. There are four separate hostels for international students. These four include an International House Annexe for female students with an intake capacity of 24.

Admission is through a post-graduation entrance test. It generally happens around April. The form is available on the university website. It can be filled in and submitted online. The exam is also online(CBT test). The cutoff marks are all easily available on the internet.

The faculty is good and very experienced. My department has only two assistant professors but that is because it being new. However, the discrepancy is made up by inviting lecturers from different departments. Overall the faculty is good with tons of experience and interest in teaching is also at par with any other world-class university.
