College management strives hard to get excellence in every area. They try to adopt student friendly rules.

Course curriculum and exam structure is well organized under the guidance of VTU. It is changed regularly in order to meet the requirements of industry. There is a committe which decides curriculum regularly. There are 3 IAs and best 2 is considered. 1 sem end exam is conducted. There is an option for makeup exam and STC too.

Placement is also good. But the training for the placement is not provided. We need to train ourselves for it. Many companies visit campus for placement. Average package is 3.5 lakhs. Highest package often stays above 10 lakhs. Some of the companies recruiting are informatica, Sony, dell, racists, juniper networks, Accenture, global Edge, mind Tree

Fiesta is a pure cultural event of seven days. It is an intra college festival where different groups from out college fight against each other to win events. Insignia is a techno cultural events which is inter college fest. It usually be for 3 days. There will be a concert and a DJ night during it

Fees is feasible. One admitted in govt fee has to pay about 65000 and one who admitted via comedk needs to pay around 190000. Management fees depends upon the branch we select. For CSE it is around 25000. Fees distribution is transparent. And it is worth of paying

I have not opted for any scholarships. But scholarships are provided by college itself for top students.

Campus life is very good in SDMCET. Cultural and sports is given importance too but much dedication is towards studies. College conducts two fest every year. One is FIESTA an intra college competition and one more is INSIGNIA an inter college fest. Besides this ethnic day, group days are also celebrated. Workshops are also conducted regularly.

Yes, I have opted for hostel. Hostel has 2 sharing, 3 sharing,4 sharing as well as general rooms. There are 2 girls hostel and 3 boys hostel. Security has been provided for both hostels. In time for gals in the hostel is 9 30 in the night and it is strictly followed.

Alumni network is very good. Many alumni often visit college and interact with us regarding current situation in the industry, interview experience etc, global alumni meeting is conducted alternative year.

I got admission from the government seat. Admission process is pretty simple and can be completed in a day. Some of necessary documents are taken during the admission are 10th marks card, pu marks card and income certificate. College also takes adhaar card xerox.

Faculty of the college are available in the campus from 9 am to 5 pm. There is about 30 faculties in my department. Most of them are middle aged. Everyone has good knowledge about course and are dedicated. Many lecturers hold good amount of industry experience
