College management mostly focus on the how to get students pass out from one batch to other, where they should focus on how they could better help a student get the best out of the course and also get a placement or intership.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Courses offered by the University are out dated and does not provide any relevance with the current industry practices. University examination are more based with theories and less practical oriented. The course curriculum is mostly theory based and also the examination conducted by the University are more theory based rather then concept checking oriented.
Placement Experience
Placement condition is very poor and college doesn't have many companies that visit the campus for placements. Also speaking about internships, the information provided for any internship are not sufficient. The placement cell of the college is quite inactive.
College Events
There are no college events held at the campus. There is a common fest which is held at another campus under the same brand name. Though the fest is held but involvement of the students from different colleges are very less, and more from the host college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee seems Expensive and the ROI is very low as the placement senario are very gloomy. College accpets demand draft and other online payment are accepted. There are no additional fees required to secure a seat. No, college doesn't provide any fees breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no scholarship available for the general category students from the college. There are few state scholarships provided by the state government for the st/sc students in order to uplift the backward classes.
Campus Life
Gender ratio- 40:3(male:female), Very few extra curricular activities, less involvement in competition. There are not sufficient lab equipments or machines to perform the practicals and so the facilities form large groups of students to explain the practical oriented problems and very few students are able to get a hands on experience with the machine other than the exam time.
Hostel Facilities
No, hostel rooms were very less in number and unable to cater to all the students. There are 4-5 students living in each hostel rooms.Each room have 4 cots, tables and a chair for each student. There are 4 cupboard for each student staying in the hostel room.
Alumni/Alumna
No structured alumni network. There should be a proper alumni network where all the students can connect with their college alumni and can leverage the connection to get a placement offer.
Admission
I got admission via state entrance examination. However, there are different methods to secure an admission at the college, like JEE mains exam and MHCET entrance examination. Depending upon the ranks there are councelling sessions held at the state level and students can opt for the councelling sessions.
Faculty
There are not sufficient good professors available for the courses. Most of the professors are new joining or have very less experience in teaching a professional course to graduate student. Few of the faculties are really very good, However, it all depends on what course you have selected.
