Remarks
Fees are high. Academics is not upto the mark. Practical knowledge can be gained if you know the right person to pursue.
Course Curriculum Overview
Relevant, but practical is better than theory curriculum. Acting, direction and camera are the most sought after. Journalism faculty is good, however they are less in number. Neha Saluja is one of the best faculty member for journalism. Ashok Tyagi is good for direction.
Placement Experience
Was placed at Hindustan Times right of the bat. Good job opportunities as the college is in Film City, Noida.
College Events
Global Film Festival, Global Journalism Festival, Short Film Festival are some of the events that are internationally participated in. Good exposure opportunities. One can get to meet many stalwarts from bollywood and news industry. Also, anyone can participate in the contests held.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are high. It is very expensive. There are no additional charges, but the fees are to be paid every semester. University fees not included, that is to be paid separately. Fees can be paid by cheque or cash. As for online payment, that has to be inquired.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not opt for any scholarship. The college offers none. The terms might have changed over the years, it needs to be inquired on.
Campus Life
Very open. LGBTQ community has a very good presence in the college. Gender ratio is almost equal. Most of the students are aspiring actors so there might be many frivolous characters around the college. There is bias in terms of ethnicity, race or religion.
Alumni/Alumna
No. Haven’t been helped by any seniors as far. But have seen some of them being very successful in their careers.
Admission
A lot of money. It is not cheap to study in this college. Plus, commute and finding a place to stay nearby is one of the problems. Admission is practically very easy if you have the money. Just step in the college and ask to admission department. Hostel facilities are also available
Faculty
Some good, some average. Most of the faculty member have been or are part of the news industry, film industry and such. Some of them are average in academics, but they have enough experience to make students understand how to work around the media industry.
