The time for staying outside the hostel is less as compared to boys inside the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is challenging as continuous assessments to test the ability are taken. That also helps in understanding one's own capability. The curriculum consists of projects which are research-based which leads to a good thought process. The course consists of individual subjects digital assignments are asked to submit under a stipulated amount of time given. The two continuous assessments and one final assessment are conducted and also the practical exams.
Placement Experience
Many no. of companies visit every year for the discipline I have enrolled in Companies such as Cummins Pvt. ltd, General Electric. I completed my internship at WABTEC.
College Events
There are many events held on campus. Many workshops related to the domain are arranged for which few are industrial experts. The cultural event VIBRANCE is organized at a grand level where various stars arrive on the campus for up to 3 days. Participation is seen in huge numbers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee was 150200per year. The fee structure can be a bit expensive for some. The education loan also is availed if cannot pay by own. There is no extra fee for securing admission. Only for hostel 10000 deposit have to do which will be refunded in the last year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I opted for an education loan. Need to show the purpose, the admission letter, and the fee structure to the bank manager. The bank was selected according to the rate of interest and less time taken for approval.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is nearly the same as in other universities. There is no restriction for extracurricular activities for any gender on the campus. Competitions are held for sports like basketball, volleyball, cricket. The campus life becomes a little hectic once the curriculum takes its speed.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni are helpful We are connected through groups, mails, and also online meetings are scheduled with them.
Admission
VIT a one of the top deemed university. I took admission through entrance exam VITMEE. The institution is well equipped with the required and necessary resources for each and every student on the campus. The nature of professors towards the students was friendly and helpful to gain knowledge.
Faculty
There are 30 - 35 professors in each discipline. The average age is 30- 32 yrs and above and most of the professors are Ph.D. holders. Yes the lecturers are also industry experience in a particular domain. Some are perusing Ph.D.Some of the professors are also involved with the government projects undertaken.
