St.Xavier Ranchi college review

The college is very popular for its decipline and it's true to each and every aspect whether be it your attendance or your mid sem and end sem exams.

Course is very up to dated and have mix and match of every subject.The core subjects are focused more than the subsidiary ones but the minimum passing eligibility is necessary for all core and subsidiary subjects.The attendance pattern also follows the same for both ie 75% mandatory.Overall there are extra classes also when short of time and course is left in portion

The placement is average to okay as the college provides all undergraduate courses so the good companies are likely to get less attracted to the college but still those few companies who comes to the college offers great to the students for intership or placement offers.

Sports day, tournaments and championships, Different type of quizzes the biggest event of the year is the fest which goes for 3 days and different varieties of competition are held mr & miss fresher,mr & miss Xavier,ramp walks, dance competition,singing competition,face painting, college,rangoli etc making competition and the day ends with a rock show.

Fee Structure is quite feasible.There are 2 modes through which the students can pay,first is through cash and depositing the amount in the college itself by standing in the long queue.Second through online mode ie card payment and for that they charge extra 5% around.There is each and every thing mentioned in the challan about the fee for which and what amount we are paying ie the breakdown is very transparent.

Scholarship are provided for the students who need them and qualify the criteria for that.I have not opted for any scholarships.

In my class there were alomost 3:2 ratio ie,boys : girls.college was very active in the extra curricular activities,there were basketball tournament, football tournament etc and computer labs are also up to dated and regerous training is given in those practical computer classes.

No I have not opted for hostel.But there is only boys hostel in the college.Girls have to arrange on their own near the college.For boys, there is fooding facility also with that and the charges of that is very pocket friendly.

The seniors were friendly and as such you will not get any extra help or information from them regarding the course or college

Got admission in this college through clearing the entrance exam which was conducted by the college.The list of selected students were mentioned in their sites and accordingly the admission process carries on.The exam conducted by the college have questions related to the topics of class 11,12 which is accountancy, business studies, economics, Mathematics, current affairs,Etc.

The lectures are divided as per the topic length of each chapter and according to the mid sem and end sem syllabus.The teachers gives valuable notes and refferal books which are very helpful for all the faculty of the college is worth the money.Being from account department every teacher is very helpful and knowledgeable.Teaching qulatiity is excellent.
