Remarks
I feel this is the best college you can ask for in case of private universities. Don't go on the locality or the university the college is affiliated to. The college is exceptional and will surprise you by the quality of education and opportunities it provides. The ease of accessibility to the Director if you need some new subject introduced is amazing and you cannot find it everywhere.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is excellent, experienced professors teach you in first year. And from second year onwards professional teachers are added and third year is entirely taught by Advocates practising to give us the practical knowledge. Apart from the routine curriculum which is from 9:00-2:30 with no free period just 30 min lunch break and 10 min break after every lecture. The teacher's and director for that matter is very helpful in providing the best knowledge and opportunities possible. The college has various cells like legal aid etc and is also very keen on sending students for domestic and international moots. There are lot of seminars to educate about the practical aspect of Advocacy.
Placement Experience
There is an internship cell which provides internship to each Student if the student applies for it. Apart from that we often receive internship opportunities from renowned companies and advocates and that is passed to us through our Gmail and we can apply to it independently or through college cell. As for the preparation of placement in these times of COVID-19 also we have placement webinars on different we can apply for.
College Events
We have SAARC moot competition held every year which provides opportunities to interact with advocates and also experience the moot proceedings. We have annual cultural fest held in February. We even have sports fest where outside colleges are invited to participate. Apart from that we have various clubs also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible as compared to other universities when I enrolled it was 35K per semester annually 70k. The college is full transparent as to the fee structure. The additional fee is only charged if you opt for the transportation facility provided by the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I didn't opted for any scholarship facility. But If you have scored 60 above in your graduation you get some amout of scholarship provided. It depends on the marks
Campus Life
The college is very diverse in our class we have students aged 30 plus also and from all backgrounds. There are various cultural societies such as drama, research, legal aid, moot court etc. As for competition there is intra moot competition, research writing etc held every year apart from this there is SAARC Moot competition, sports fest, music fest etc.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is amazing we often have lectures delivered from alumni and some even provide internship opportunities.
Admission
I got through personal Interview. For LLB you have to get admission through personal interview or on the basis of your DU and CLAT score. And BA LLB there is entrance system. For LLB the process is simple you go in, someone will take your interview and then on the spot will give you the result. You get merit points if you have scored 60 above in graduation leading to some sort of concession in fee. This is also applicable if you have high rank in DU Entrance of CLAT
Faculty
Per subject there is one lecturer and in case someone is on leave the director teaches himself or outsourced professional are called to deliver the lecture. So five subjects five teachers. The faculty is A grade ranging from expert professors to practising Supreme Court Advocates. The faculty is very thorough with its teaching like we often have surprise quizzes to test what we have learnt. They relate each section with giving practical recent examples for better understanding.
