Remarks

Good location friendly staff good. extracurricular activities have the right course that I choose. It's near to my place where I stay and it has a good academic track record. The school campus is one of a kind in the heart of the city.

It follows the latest course syllabus as shown by the education ministry we do have industrial exposures for all the students as part of our daily curriculum programme. The faculties are up to to the standard laid down christy Shanti is good

Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience

Our faculty usually offered a placement job for example job for the mini program in any company. Small opportunity for earning some money and also the side job for some needy person who can survive with this and earn extra.

College Events

It host city level events like a musical concert where international bands are invited to perform annual science fair are also held once a year. A lot of technical cultural and management events are held throughout the year.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't avail any scholarship from my college. I never got a chance to win a scholarship from my faculty. but not an issue. not every student win a scholarship from faculty but still am happy with our faculty.

Campus Life

Wi-fi, library, swimming pool and playground. It has a start of art library and laboratories. There is an annual school city level sports meet where many schools participate competing in various sports.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel premises has a common TV room, tuck-shops (having stationary, barber, bakery, juice etc. shops) and state of the art indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The entire hostel premises are Wi-Fi enabled and have a separate computer centre with 24X7 internet facility.

Reality of IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.
