It is renowned Institute all across India and ranked 1 among all Indian Universities. And it's school of life science is one of the best. And I got my 1st preferred guide and subject of interest hence I joined.
Course Curriculum Overview
Life science coursework exam is one of the hardest exams to be cleared. So for existing as a PhD scholar just joining after admission is not enough. It has great facilities. The faculties are well experienced and cooperative. The syllabus is well designed for every entrance exam, CSIR etc. It will be worth taking to join.
Placement Experience
You can apply for post doctoral fellowships, can apply for lectureship or assistant professor post. You can go for life science companies join labs etc. If not atleast you can join any private college on a contractual basis.
College Events
As it is a central University having students all over the country and globe so it respect all type of religion and culture and celebrate all the festival with joy and respect. There are a lot of exracurricular activities to be participated.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you don't have a csir/DBT jrf then for PhD you will be provided a rs of 8000/month as institutional fellowship. And for MSc students a amount of 1000/month is provided. There are other research fellowships like RGNF/Single girl child/PMRF you can apply according to your eligibility.
Campus Life
A huge sports Complex for both outdoor and indoor is available. A gym and meditation point is also there. A well maintained basketball ground is there near boys hostel. The whole campus, classroom and hostel is WiFi linked. There are 2 huge library and study rooms. Well equipped labs are also available. Its a 2300acre campus so no doubt it has a well maintained and great facilitated.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is available for all the students. Average charge is around 5000/year(depends on academic year). For PG and PhD 1st and 2nd year students need to share room with mate(double bed) then for rest 3years you will be provided single room.
