Remarks

The management is appreciated and well maintained by out esteemed faculty members. It is because of their dedication and hard work that we are successful individuals.

Entrance Preview

I gave State CET (Common Entrance Test) and came rank 16th. I was supposed to join Banagalore but due to health issues i had to join a college near my home. Therefore I chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum was good. Some of my electives were Robotics where we learned to make some small devices controlled by JAVA programming. Data Mining as a data warehousing schemes and categories,Artificial Intelligence which also helped in robotics.

Internships Opportunities

I did my Internship from Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata. There was no stipend but the faculty were very helpful in giving us directions and guiding us in all phases of our project.

Placement Experience

3

Almost 80% of my batch mates were placed. Companies like TCS,CTS,Infosys,Accenture,Wipro,Wells Fargo recruit students on campus.

College Events

4

There is an yearly fest called kaalrav which is held by our college. It is usually 3-4 days event about 6-8 colleges participate in this event. The crowd is about 2000+ and there are events like battle of bands,Fashion show,Choosing of Mr. and Miss. kaalrav along with a professional band playing on the closing night.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure were different for different students. Those who got through CET got scholarship those who gave AIEEE had different fee structure and those of NRI had a different structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships were given to good and meritorious students. I do not have much idea about the loan facility.

Campus Life

4

There were competitions, fairs, workshops, cultural and ethical societies and help groups of which even i were a part of yes boys were more free than the girls. Our hostel in time was 7:00 pm where as no such rules were for boys. Girls hostel were checked on a daily basis for any absent girl. Attendance in hostel was very important every night at 10:00 pm.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms wee clean and very well planned with 2 people sharing a room and a washroom. The mess was also very clean and the food was good.

Alumni/Alumna

There a lot of alumni groups in Facebook and google plus. Alumni of different batches meet up and have fun together. We had a recent interaction in Kolkata where my some of my batchmates were present.

Exam Structure

Practical Labs were very strict. There were 3 practical labs in a week of 3 hours each. Morning lecture started at 8:00 am and ended at 4:00 pm with 1 hour break. There were 6 theory subjects and 3 practical. Exams were very frequent and divided into quizzes, sessionals and semester exams. It was hectic.

Faculty

5

They were extremely supportive and helped us gain more ideas relating to all subjects of our study. They helped us in gaining in-depth knowledge of new terms and also how things work in the practical real-world scenario. It helped us in out work place and also in all projects we took up.

I do not have much idea about this field. If I'm not wrong internships begin from 2nd to 3rd year itself, and placements from 4th year. The avergae package here is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 56 LPA. That'll be all from side.

From 5 th semester student can apply for internships and after 6th semester they can apply for placements. The average package is 7 lakh per annum and highest is based upon recession and market structure. Last year one senior got 44 lpa package from Nivida.
