Remarks

The Oxford College of Engineering worked on great ethics and principles. The infrastructure is excellent and the facilities provided are also great. The administrative department helped and co-operated very well which made us have a smooth admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had aspired to become a software engineer and hence the selection of the course. And the CSE department had great, experienced faculties, laboratories, technical training apart from the syllabus and a lot of workshops conducted. Faculties were very friendly and approachable and made sure any student could go to them with any doubts. Exams were held on time and it was not so tough as teachers had taught things clearly.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There were many companies that took students for internships with the stipend of 20000. Students were offered to work as backend developers, front end developers, content writers, full-stack developers etc.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible from the 6th semester for the placements. There were a prolific amount of companies visited and a lot of students placed. Highest packages are 10 LPA. Department had more than 90% of students being placed. My plans are to take the job that is being offered.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is reasonable as I'm admitted through CET. We also had many scholarships which we could apply for. I had received a scholarship of 19000 every year from the central government. Also, the placements are excellent for our department. I've also been placed in a company with 3.5LPA

Campus Life

We had two tests conducted in the even semesters. That is IMPULSE - technical fest and OXFORTOTSAV - cultural fest. All sorts of engineering fields books are available at the library. We had sports annual meet again in the even semesters and also freshers day, ethnic day and farewell. There's a social group called TOGGLE run by students for students which provided knowledge on trending new technologies.

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination
