Remarks

The rating, the brand name, the area, had more options of courses in commerce, highly recommended by localities of Bangalore. High standard of education and social services provided. Also many recognised companies come to college for placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course is integrated with TCS company, and they provide subject notes and plan the curriculum. There are industrial visits, and every year one international trip and one national trip is mandatory to be conducted. Many inter college events and fests keep happening the entire year, sports, art, music etc everything is been inspired. There ae many certificate courses also provided apart from our normal curriculum with an extra cost. Faculties are well experienced and provide us with many assignments, written notes, explain through ppt, gaming apps, provide us with interesting assignment that helps us to provide exposure with outside world. Do many research works etc.

Internships Opportunities

Interned in Magicpin Bangalore, It's a Software as a Service (SaaS) company. I applied through interhshala. Stipen was 10,000 per month. Interhsip is mandatory to be done in Commerce course for minimum 150 hours

Many big companies came to colleg eg - ICICI bank, TCS, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Ernest and Young, Lowe's USA, Axis Bank, and many more. The E cell of our college conducted Corporate Genesis launch pad where 2 ideas were funded worth around 30 lakhs. Many recognised personalities came to college for speech. Etc

College Events

5

We have Tedx, MUN, Intercollege fest, annual fest, Neerathon( run for water), WACC ( wild life association club), Corporate Genesis, Shark tank event, English department fest, commerce, North East, science and arts fest. The college is always full of enjoyment and joy, with different food trucks coming, some or the other things happening. People from MTV quite come to our campus too.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided for weaker sections of society. With parnets have annual pay of less than 200000 can avail scholarship and also under minorities category they have a seperate scholarship available

Campus Life

4.5

Library is very big with over 3000+ books available. Also online digital library is also available. ( e-books). Infrastructure is very huge with 3 canteens in campus, many computer labs, play ground, basketball court, games rooms, badminton court, gym, etc. It is highly equipped with all computer labs, many auditoriums, science labs, chemistry and biology labs. Sports is highly encouraged in campus. Has NCC too, with swimming, squash, badminton team, football, etc. We have annual sports day too. Etc

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There's only boys hostel accommodation in college, apart from that there are more than 8+ hostels and pg for girls for girls within 10 mins to 5 mins walk. The PG for girls is allocated in a flagship area. Different PG charge different prizes according to facilities provided. Girls PG are really good around the campus though.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
