Golden days in college

College management was very good and they was continuously trying to improve the quality of the facilities and education.

I took IIT JEE,AIEEE,MHCET exams to get admission for Engineering. I got selected in this college on the basis of AIEEE my score was 63. I wanted to be Mechanical engineer from school days due to fascinations about machines and physics.

Course Curriculum was standard Mumbai university Mechanical Engineering course with 8 Semesters pattern,2 semesters each year and total 4 years course. Last year was haveing choice of an elective subjects like Automobile.

I done my internship project from BARC,It was awesome experience to work with professionals. To see the application of the engineering principles. We were not offered any stipend for this internship.

Placement facilities were very poor in a college only one student got placed through placement in Indiabulls power sector. He got package of 3 lac. Hardly 3 companies came for the placement. They selected some students and then disappeared.

One cultural festival and one technical festival used to take place along with this departmental competitions and activities was there. Festival were not so big less than 5 Lac budgets.

Engineering college fees are always expensive. There were so many compulsory charger which was a extra burden on the students like development charge compulsory bus fees etc.

No scholarship were offered neither a loan facilities. External banks used to exhibit there facilities at our college premises.

College campus was very good and big. Girls to boy ration was very less as it was an engineering college. There was no politics due the factors like race,economic conditions, religion etc.

No hostel facilities were there. Though college management committed to build the hostel but they did not. Lots of students were leaving as a paying guests with average rent of 2000 to 5000 rupees.

No as we are the 4 batch from the starting of the college. No alumni was found. Seniors were also friendly and co-operative. Our college was free from ragging.

One internal exam per semester was there. Labs were frequent an the later half of the day. Exam and lab schedule was not so hectic.

Faculty of college was ok. Not too much qualified Lack of experience most of the teachers was recently pass outs. They hardly cover full syllabus. But some teachers were really good.
