Remarks

This college is very much known for its academic excellence. It has secured a very good rank among the colleges under GTU. The Aeronautical department is one of the oldest in this college. The labs are very well equipped with all the modern equipments to provide a complete practical experience to the students. The college actively encourages various startups under SSIP plan of GTU.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum is same as other colleges which comes under the Gujarat Technological University. The course was last updated in the year 2017. They are updated quite frequently as per the requirements. All the faculties in the aeronautical department hve minimum experience of 5 years in their respective fields. Especially the HOD of our department who is also the dean of our college Ramana sir is very supportive and encourages thinking out of the box and making innovative ideas.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Placement Experience

In our department the placement are pretty less. This year just 2 companies visited our college to hire the students. Moreover many students of aeronautical branch don't go for placements. They are more interested in research and further studies or civil services preparation. There are many small startups and innovations made by students of our department.

College Events

For promoting extracurricular activities the college has dedicated 2 days in a small fest called spandan where there are various competitions organized like essay writing, poetry, debate, dancing, mimicry, tug of war and many other sports activities. We have sports week every year where various sporting competition are organised. The most interesting being cricket where different departments fight to win the trophy of winning department. We have our college annual day Malhar. There is also one inter-departmental technical and non technical fest called Vision and also a National technical fest Prakash is organised by our college.

LIfe and Learning at PDEU

Placement Experience:

At PDEU, students become eligible after the 7th semester for the campus placements . Many top companies like IBM, Cognizant, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , TCS and many more. the highest package that went in my batch was 13-20 LPA whereas the average package is 7-8 LPA as per the company and profiles. Mostly 80-85%of the students got placed every year. Some students also goes for the higher studies or for their family bussiness.My plan after getting the degree is to join a AI/IoT company at better package.

Placement Experience:

My college provide internship and placement from 3rd year of course and student must not have any pending backlog in placement cell. There is many company come for recruitment if i give some name is torrent power, TCS, E infochips, adani power many. The student get highest package is around 20 LPA and the avg package is around 3 4 lpa and around 70 to 80 percent student got placed every year. Current Details of SVIT

Honestly I targeted SVIT, because it was near by vadodara, easy to travel and timings were also good enough to get adpoted with. The fews structure and environment their is much better than other colleges. The admission process is through ACPC, vacant quota, management quota and SC/ST quota. I got admission through vacant quota after 2nd round of ACPC. The cutoff for ACPC in Computer Engineering at my admission time was 5000. And for vacanct quota it was extended to 9000 after 3rd round of ACPC . The admission process was smooth. The SVIT journey

I applied in PDPU(PDEU) and Lj university ahmedabad. I chose this college because 1) It is one of the best and renowned college inour region 2)The feels is comparatively too less.Yes my application in Nirma University(ahm) got rejected because i couldn't clear the cutoff of CSE of that college.The admission process in SVIT is simple you if youre alloted seat through ACPC or you need to visit the campus for management quota.The exams required here are 12th PCM and GUJCET or JEE.The exam most preferred here is GUJCET as it is simpler than JEE the cutoff of SVIT for CE was 7000 rank (GUJCET) this year....Read More
