Remarks

The College is very good for girls. The location is pretty good too and transportation facilities are on point. The college is moreover reputed for general courses. It is a very good college for average students.

The course is updated and informative in general.The faculties of all the departments are very good renowned. Professors are very friendly and helpful. Professors always help us with the studies in all the ways possible.

Placement Experience

The job opportunities in our college is less and restricted. There are no recruiters coming to our college yet. However, teachers guide us and inform us about the corporate sector all the time. Proper counselling also provided.

College Events

There are many extra curricular activities and events in our college. Events include annual fest, freshers party, farewell party, sports day, exhibitions, workshops, and seminars. Extra curricular activities include dancing, singing, karate classes, etc.

I really liked geography as a subject for learning and exploring as it includes fieldwork , surveys and excursion which enhances our mind and experience in our life and this way we have many opportunities to learn new things in our life which is helpful for our future purposes. The only improvements I would like to note that to improve the toilet facilities and placement opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a complex and vast one, with multiple areas in focus, which itself is a merit as it serves its purpose in training a Christian minister for all the challenges. The course is more praxis than a confined theoretical classroom. Certain improvements in teaching methods can be brought up. Teachers must ensure the students' study and find some way to monitor it. Otherwise students tend to get stuck in the wide array of topics to study and somehow just find it difficult.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from the 2nd semester for placements. Most of the big tech companies visit BA. The highest package offered is more than 40 lakhs. The avg package for CS is 10 lakhs. PICT has record placements of more than 90%. I plan to go for an M.Tech degree after completion of the course.

Positive is the college is contact through bus and train and Tarakeswar Bus stand and Tarakeswar railway station have within 500 meters. From Howrah to Tarakeswar, Arambugh, Goghat train started every hours.
