Remarks

I like this college because the way of teaching is good and also they organise seminars very frequently so that's how it is more beneficial. The teachers are very nice and cooperative. The faculty is awesome. I never stayed at the hostel so don't know about it. Ambience is great and the competition in the college is very healthy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Facilities are great, and in the case of academics it's very sorted. The teachers make sure that the students are able to understand everything. They are not teaching for completing the syllabus. They teach everything properly and nicely. Courses are nice and the college provides opportunity to students to take part in fests, competitions and other healthy activities.

Placement Experience

There is no good scope for placement and job opportunities to be honest. But they might provide you with internships and all. I have heard from the seniors that the placement is not good. But through various seminars and counselling you can find a way.

College Events

It is nice. But the college doesn't really have a lot of fests. Usually colleges conduct those. Campus is very huge. There are many canteens, playgrounds etc. The ambience is pretty good. You will get everything in the canteen but the costs are a bit higher than the usual.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

I applied to Jadavpur University through their entrance exam, however i was not selected there due to my low scores in their entrance exam. Then through various research I found out about the course of BCA in internet, since I had taken a year drop I found it would be perfect for me.
