Remarks

The placement is good.The faculty members are well educated and they coordinate the students.The college focuses on academics as well as other activities.It also provides guidance to students who are preparing for higher studies.The faculty members are quite motivating and inspiring.The college infrastructure is also well.They prepare students very well.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our syllabus was completely updated as per University guidlines.They make the student's academics strong.The faculties are well educated and quite helpful.The faculties coordinate us and also solve our problems when required.

Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

Many companies like Infosys, Accenture,Cape gemini,TCS,zensor,Cognizant,etc visit the college. The entrepreneur cell is much developed.Fifty percent of the students get placed in good companies.The alumni network is not very strong though.

College Events

Various technical events are organised so that students gain more technical knowledge.Techfests are arranged.We also have Sinhgad karandak,the biggest college fest in Pune city. Lots of students From various schools and colleges participate in it.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is well developed.We have sports ground for every sport.Memberships are given to students according to their choice.The library is well developed and it has lots of books when required.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
