Remarks

It is an ancient college with more of studies and less of politics and amusement. It was my first preference and I applied and got admission at one shot. My school teachers had also suggested Scottish Church college.

I feel the revised structure is like a heavy burden the syllabus remains the same (vast) and the time is decreased so it's very difficult to cope up. Moreover we are not taught everything in details due to lack of time.

Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

I don't have much knowledge about the placements but know there is a part of the college working on it. I'm still in first year and I have no idea how much or how well this works. I don't have any connection with an senior.

College Events

Since I'm still a fresher I'm getting to know the college and it's cultures however the college celebrates all important occasion and also has it's own fests programs activities. My college also takes the initiative to teach the unprivileged.

Campus Life

The library is vast with a number of books. Though the college is old it has properly maintained buildings. The classrooms are very spacious. The college organizes sports activities for everybody. From the common room to the classroom everything is well equiped

I took artificial intelligence to gain knowledge about it . But the other curriculums like yoga which is necessary to attend making it heard. Teaching method should be improved because some of our faculty is very poor in teaching

I got offers from Presidency University, Kolkata, Vishwabharati University, Bolpur. In Presidency Uni, the students are more immersed in any other activities. Scottish Church College, is the only co-ed college to come under top 80 colleges of India, and Calcutta University always comes within top 10 state universities of India. I also applied in Jadavpur University, but couldn't get chance as it was COVID year and my marks weren't enough. Scottish Church is dream

After 12th I applied for many colleges like Vivekananda college, Vivekananda centenary college, Asutosh College, Surendra Nath college etc. But in mind, there was Scottish Church, my dream. I didn't think that I will be able to take admission to Scottish Church but that I got my dreams comes true and like my dreams the college that means my college was a dream. Though I get admission through the wish list. I had enrolled myself on the wishlist when they publish to notice for wishlist. After 3 or 4 days the 1st merit list of the wishlist comes out and there was my name in 3rd position.
