Remarks

To take aeronautical engineering as my future job. I love planes and so i choose to an aeronautical engineering. In kerala there are only 5 colleges for aeronautical engineering and i choose my college for this course and i got the admission by entrace.

Course Curriculum Overview

Good. Very good.i love this course it is very wonderful to study but is some what difficult to study.all the faculties are good but some are not so good in thete teaching but we mange it well by studying hatd.

Class Size: 37Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

We the aeronautical students are not having placements trlhere is no palcement for us but there is placement for other students like computer, civil,electronics etc.we are not having any placenents.

College Events

Good our campus life is good.but the cultural program didnot happen becuse our college didnot give as the fund to make it happen and thry are asking the students to raise the fund for it and it is pretty much expensive

Our overall infrastructure is good. It is a wonderful college to see. We can go to any place from different places.all the places are connected so that we can go easily to ant places with less time there is also a lift but will be stoped many times

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

My review about RIET

I gave three options during my optional registration process. First is my current college and other is vkct and govt college attingal. But the first allotment I got admission at my current college so I took here as because of good reviews and food facilities. I enquired about the other colleges in my locality and my neighbouring places I got very good reviews. I think this college has more development and provides more intership programs IVs and more companies for placements comparing with other colleges. Our college supports startups and gave financial support for startups if needed But this is not in other colleges This is why I chose this college for my BTech degree.
