Remarks

This is one of the top private colleges in Kolkata. The good name and the very appreciable placement record made me decide to go for this college. The colloege is also in a good spot and so communication was easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some teachers are highly knowledgeable, but many of them are average. Their teaching quality is good, but it can be improved more. However, their teaching quality was superb in subjects like Java and networking. Our course curriculum is relevant to some extent, and it also makes students very much industry-ready.

Placement Experience

About 70% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package of 10 LPA and the lowest salary package of 2.8 LPA and the average salary package of 3.05 LPA are offered in our college. Informatica, Macaffe, Microsoft, ThoughtWorks and ZS Associate are the top recruiters of our college.

College Events

Nothing needs improvement in our course. Every year fest and extracurricular activities are conducted at our college. Classrooms are neat and clean. The college offers a good environment. Library condition is also good, and the books are up to the mark. Quality of food served in the canteen is extremely good and tasty.

Placement Experience:

The placement record of college is very excellent and most of the students get placed on campus. The placement get started from 2nd year only and the company's start visiting the campus for recruitment. The company's like chevron, fleet management, Pacific basin visit and average package provided is about 70000-80000 per month. 90 to 95% of cadets get placed but those who didn't take placement get placement easily outside the college.

1. In the 4th year our college offers on and off-campus drives for our students. 2. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Shyam Steel, etc companies visited our college and took 20% students as their employees. 3. Highest package was 30000/month for freshers and for experienced candidates it was 50000/ month. The lowest package was 15000/ month. 4. Total 45% of students get placed 5. After completing the degree my plan was to get a job and gathering some experience.

After 6 semester the students get eligible for campus placement. TCS, WIPRO, some Cement company, Relince are frequently visiting company. The average packages are 3-5 LPA. The 30% student get placement in this college.Some company also take student for internship. I am planning to get job at any MNC.

The Ups and Downs of College Life in MSIT.

Personally I had applied for 2 more colleges with the course CSE(AIML) namely Heritage and Techno Main,SaltLake. I got rejected in both the colleges due to less rank in my Wbjee exam and their admission category. MSIT approved my admission as my rank matched their admission criteria. This college approves students on the basis of their rank in Wbjee and in my course the minimum requirement of rank was 40,000. THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

The sole reason of me studying in this college is because two of my relatives are already enrolled in this college and they advised me that this college is decent. However my perspective changed when I experienced one of the semester.
