Remarks

It's in my home city. My college is autonomous and renowned and is easy to commute to. The thing is like.mostnisnthatnitnhas a really nice range of extra-curriculars, a great library, good peers and good faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is updated. It can be made better though. My teacher for the first year electrical course - Ms. Sunita is one of the best teachers I have come across in this college. There are other teachers who are good too.

Placement Experience

Alumni network is great and huge. As far as I know, placements in my college are great. Companies such as Wipro, Samsung, Microsoft etc come to interview and recruit students. The training and placement officer is great.

College Events

The campus is great, especially for us students to hang out during our free time. The festivals are managed nicely by the student committees and they are supported by our college fully. Students participate in festivals whole heartedly.

I applied for VJTI, and other college of pune PCCOE. I got VJTI as I referred it as my 1st college in the list. So I got my 1st choice. I have heard the name of VJTI College in top 10 colleges in maharashtra. It is established in 1887. The Alumini of this college are at top positions in their field. VJTI provides good placement opportunities. The admission for M.Tech is through CAP rounds which considers GATE score. For getting admission the score should be valid. There is no duch cutoffs. Review from a Second Year student in VJTI !

The college is very transparent regarding its placement percentage, internship opportunities and so on. Other colleges try not to release official data. Many colleges publish placement brochures, not reports, it is easy to lie on them. VJTI provides accurate placement reports. The alumni network is really strong, they have thousands of past graduates. The admission process is mainly through MHTCET. The overall admission procedure is fairly smooth. The cutoffs are really high. They are also increasing year be year as standards rise.
