Remarks

Please Avoid these college if possible. It's not a very good option. You can look for better options. Or you can do anything other then engineering

Entrance Preview

(MHT-CET, AIEEE), i got selected on my MHT-CET score which was 77 and i opt for this college because there was no better option for me as i didnt got very good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is Irrelevant, old and not upto mark. And also my batch was kind of a lab rat, all the experiments with new course and exam scheme were tried on us which resulted badly.

Internships Opportunities

Not very good, the only reason why this college is getting any companies is that is has Sinhgad Institute as support. Else this is a below average college with below average placement.

Events under Sinhgad Karandak (Main festival of Sinhgad Institue) are celebrated. The management is given to students on the basics of pure politics among faculty and student.

Extracurricular activities are just for name sake, Labs are not so good just average, sports section is weak, no debates are held ever. also there's lots of politics in this activities

Hostel Facilities

Absolutely no security at hostel, local goons often vandalized and beat up students. Locality is cheap. Mess is a messy business

Only 1 batch has passed uptil now from this college as this college is new. So no, i dont have much knowledge regarding this so i wont comment anything about it.

Mock exams and re-exams before every university exams is a headache and waste precious time. Students should be given time to study

Inexperienced, rude, indecent are the words. Of course not all are the same but almost everyone of them are inexperienced and doesn't have a good command over English. The admin office staff is rude and lazy and doesnt help students in any way. The faculty members looks like they are frustrated with their lives and they take out all their frustration on the student's internal marks. I repeat not all are bad, but most of them are, and the rest are not upto mark.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students can sit for internship drives in college. Companies like BMC, Rapid7, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture ,Barclays visit our college, mostly the hire for SDE role and give traning to selected students. Highest package is 61 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed vary each year. I am planning to sit for placement.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

I applied for a large number of colleges before NBNSCOE few of them are : • COEP, Pune • DY Patil, Akurdi • SCOE, Vadgaon And in the first round i got JSPM, Wagholi... which i didn't choose cause i knew i could gett better and i got it.... I couldn't make it to other colleges because the cutoffs of those college for the stream i want was way higher than that i scored in MHT-CET exam... Admission in my college takes place through JEE/MHT-CET... mostly student prefer MHT-CET cause it is a bit easy as compared to JEE... A comprehensive review of NBN Sinhgad School of Engineering

I got admission in this college through MHTCET CAP rounds counselling. Sinhgad Institute is already a well-known and well-reputed institution in Pune. You'll have to attempt the MHTCET exam and get a good score, preferably over 90 percentile to get a good branch or your preferred branch in this college. There are also All India seats allotted through JEE score. I had applied for other reputed colleges of Pune as well, such as VIT, PICT, and PCCOE but my percentile in MHTCET wasn’t enough to pass the cut off for the branch that I wanted in those colleges....Read More
