Anonymous's Review On Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University Of Science And Technology - [DCRUST], Sonepat

First of all the university is state owned and another thing is that it is the top university in technical courses in haryana state, even they provide good facilities for library, also the teachers are well desciplined,skillful and well educated. Also in sports they provide nearly all type of local games like basketball, cricket, badminton and many more.they also provide scolorships as per UGC protocols. In technical field they provide six b.tech programmes. The university also running ph.d programme in almost all subjects. University also provide hostel facility. And at last it is near to my home about 5 k.m and from murtal road it is only 2k.m. and 45+2 =47 from ISBT new delhi. The thing which i like most about this university is their teachers as i explain in upper portion, also the infrastructure and labs are well equipped. Now, at first i try to opted for M.Tech in ECE only but after watching the future scope i go with M.tech (VLSI Design) because vlsi is the core branch of ECE.

The M.tech in VLSI design is was new for university at that time in 2015 their was only 2nd batch for VLSI design so about update the syllabus their is nothing new in university. Yes, they provide industrial exposure but unfortunately due to some domestic resions i was not taken that. Faculties in technical is good b.tech and m.tech both have best to best faculites of university. But m.tech vlsi design was new so, at that time the facility is not have enough knowledge of vlsi. M.R. MANOJ DUHAN the H.O.D of department is the best faculty in university.

It depend on candidates either they go for placement or not , their were many who not intrested for placement from university or colleges, some thinks the companies are fraud. Because the protocol of companies in selection are extremely startling. Like they call for blood test , medical and some fee for siting in placement hall. Insted this Many companies visited like TCS, WIPRO etc.

Their is a very popular technical event named technova in which the candidates of all india are invited. RHYTHM it is a cultural event in which the candidated of technical institutions from all india are invited Inter university level sports meet is held every year. And a group of youth students named youth well fair fedration works in field like blood donation, tree plantation, they help in food bank, and cloth bank for poors.

Sports facilities is good basketball , cricket , race , merathon nearly all types of game the university is dealing. Size of library is also bulky nearly all type of books of all courses provided in university are there. But the lacking point is the the facility of wi-fi is not good , labs are well equipped. Big auditorium. University dealing in All type of cultural and scientific function. There are many blocks of building as per cousres like vikram sarabai building , new teaching block building etc. Through which any new candidate are easily to find the perticular building.

I was not hostler. But i know the rooms are good. and facilities of water, washroom, and vehicals are there from hostel to campus. Yes, the room sharing was common. Two students per room in many cases.
