There are many reasons to choose Chitkara University including a great infrastructure, accomplished faculty, international partnerships etc. but it is the focus on academic rigour and critical thinking that has kept us and our students ahead of the curve.

Teachers are very good as they have proper knowledge about there subjects also they provide good guidance to students. Teaching quality is good. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant to provide proper knowledge to the students taking admission into the college. 100 percent of students got placed in Chitkara university last year. The average package last year was 6 lakh per annum. Companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook visited the campus and companies like HCL Infosys are the main recruiters. Top roles software engineer, data engineer, Andriod and web development.

Final semester one have to do internship to complete bachelor's degrees. I opted College internship they were responsible for my internship of 90days. And interview was scheduled with Dinesh sharma channel head of zeephh and i worked there for 3 mothns as a production intern in zee media organisation.

There are no campus placements for mass communication course. We individuals were sent to different organization and interviews were scheduled by HOD of our department. Further after completion of graduation since now also we receive mails regarding any of the opening in media house in case any one have to switch

Chitkara University is associated with UCO bank, you can easily get an educational loan.You just need to submit your guardian annual income on that basics they see if you are eligible for education loan or not.

The facilities provided by the university are fully air-conditioned classrooms and labs with 4G Wi-Fi connections It also provides Hostel and Transportation facility. Hostels have 4 seater and 3 seater rooms with 4G Wi-Fi connections. Hostel has A. C rooms and Non-A.C rooms Hostel infrastructure is good. They provide induction, oven, iron and iron stand, t. v. rooms and many more. Hostel food is not that good, but you can survive on that. If you don't like the mess food, you can go to the food court named square one where you can get delicious food.

There are 6 hostels in total. 3 for boys and 3 for the girls at Chitkara University, [CU] Patiala. You will be welcomed in every room. We have communal washrooms,wifi,hotwater in winters and desert coolers for tripple sharing rooms for boys and double sharing with ACs for girls. Labs are fully functional and can be accessed after college hours with permissions. Food is Ok. Vegetarian on all days but you can order non veg from local dhabas and you can also enjoy affordable meal from in house restaurant.
