Join the college if you ONLY want to study

The best college in terms of studies for electronic and communication engineering. The faculty is very well versed in the field, and up to the task of updating themselves to modern standards. Students are encouraged and supported in the research field with dedicated research and development wing of the electronic and communication branch. Even during the lockdown, there was no inhibition to the way of learning as scheduled online classes were conducted within the parameter of availability of internet. People without access to the internet were provided with online recorded classes which could be accessed on many platforms. Faculty were ready to resolve doubts round the clock. Special classes were conducted for revisions of previously thought topics so as to keep the subjects afresh. Quizzes were conducted on a daily basis to know the extent of grip each ward had on the subjects. Various webinars in the span of three months were held in the field of EC & others.

The Electronic and Communication branch faculty are very enthusiastic and keen to teach. Subjects are thought in depth. Online classes are taken according to schedule and revisions made to keep subjects afresh. Quizzes are conducted regularly and various webinars related to the subjects were held frequently. Subjects are made clear and up to date before the onset of term exams.

Fees and admission charges are as per Visvesvaraya University. No excess fees in name of various amenities are charged. The scholarship is provided for the deserving students. A placement department is a hard-working machine with numerous placement achievements.

Campus infrastructure isn't that good. The libraries do contain enough books. Fests are not of that huge grandeur. Students aren't allowed to stay in campus after-hours. You either stay in a class or you're out of campus. Security act like they own the grounds (though it's not their fault). Do not keep any expectations on extra-curricular activities. Lack of ground makes sports out of question. All clubs and unions are banned.
