Remarks
Myself Ritesh Sandbhor student in the KJSIEIT IT Department Final year. It is a very good campus and a big campus. It has a cheerful environment which I think is important for learning. To get here is very easy and convenient from Chunabatti 10 minutes walking or from Sion 20 minutes walking Rickshaw from both stations are available and reasonable fare. KJSIEIT has two big grounds and many small grounds we can also visit the Somaiya Vidyavihar campus for playing on that grounds. Placement is what attracted me to dream companies like Musigma, Reliance Jio, etc come recruitment. There are Ac labs and a perfect Infrastructure for the IT department.
Course Curriculum Overview
As there are more placement opportunities and future scope. The faculty-student ratio is good and everyone gets attention as there is a mentor system in college. The teaching method is good most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders. Exams are scheduled much before and taken on time also the level is medium.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offer internships. Faculties are making internships available via alumni or by their contacts.
Placement Experience
From semester 7 students become eligible for placements. The placement percentage is always above 90%. companies like Musigma, Accenture, Infosys, TCS, JIO, etc average package 5 lakhs and the highest is 12 lakhs. 95% have Jobs in a dream company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike is not much. Scholarship provided by somaiya trust and government policies.
Campus Life
Annual fest SURGE in March and technical fest in September. There are a N-number of books in library journals, newspaper articles, etc. Digital projectors also blackboards are available. Sports events are at February end. The college has many grounds and encourages to play sports. IEEE,ACS,IET,ISTE,etc
