Sathyabama is our home

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is a very good college where I did my BA English literature. The College has all facilities like labs, canteen, library, mess, bus etc. Our director is very sweet, she sees every student as her own child and she gives everything a student needs in their college life. Cultural program in our college is just amazing that you should never miss if you decide to join here. Admission is over now but you can join even now because sathyabama's main goal is to give education. Differently-abled students are given more care and they are treated specially in both education and cultural activities. Sathyabama is our home where we are free from all strict rules now but it is strict wherever it has to be. You can enjoy Thursday's briyani in Sathyabama mess and bus travels and classes. Now there are many new infrastructures there that every student are excited to enjoy in the coming years. You can enjoy and at the same time, you can get a quality education here.

I chose BA English literature because I love English. The faculties are very friendly and the relationship between faculty and students are like parents and a child. All the faculties are PhD completed and teaching method is very good. Often literary clubs competition is conducted which is very useful for us to grow more in confidence and education. We have 2 internals and a semester which is conducted timely without missing. It is very easy to pass in every exams if we concentrate atleast little bit in our studies and if we focus more, it is very easy to gain 80% of marks.

We are asked to do internships. We have separate marks for that for 2 semesters in BA. We are asked to go off the campus for internships and the faculties help us to find more internship ideas and places. We have a project in our last semester and we are given guides with whom if we cooperated we can easily get 80% above in projects.

Computer field and science field students are offered for placements and probably every student gets selected in the placement itself. For our course, we did not have placement so I don't know much about it but engineering students are given more placement offers and all the students who do not have arrear are mostly achieve success in their placement.

BA English literature fees are 60000 for girls and 66000 for boys each year. Fees for girls are 6000rs less than boys because our founder Jeppiar thought education for girls is very important while many do not give importance to that. Many students are given free education if they are financially backwards and there are no financial difficulties here for students who are financially backward.

The infrastructure here is just amazing. There is a new infrastructure this year which many students are welcoming. Cultural and literary clubs competition is just amazing. Cultural is very good here which no students should miss. Sports is also given importance. You are allowed to the library if you have got permission from your staff and you are allowed to read and lend any books you need. Social life in the campus is enjoyable and fun.
