Remarks

Terna College has very good facilities and overall the college is best. The infrastructure of the college is very nice and you feel so fresh and comfortable in Terna college. Library, reading room, labs, classrooms are so well designed and comfortable plus the auditorium is large in size and so attractive. This is the best engineering college where you can get admission. As a pass-out student and as per my experience I must recommend this college. You can search the college details on "ternaengg.ac.in". All the faculties and their teaching skills are very intresting and nice. You can get advice from expert industries also. And for the projects their is one EPIC community which guides you throughout your project. All the cultural activities and educational activities are organise in a perfect manner. The entire college gives you a very good feel about your engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

In the Computer Engineering department all the faculty members are very understandable and their way of teaching is so nice that you will enjoy the lectures. All faculties are well qualified like most of them have their PhD degree, researchers and well informative in every subject. They guide you in so perfect manner. With respect to their teaching skills, I'll say they are excellent. Exams are average in terms of difficulty and easy to pass because faculties cover up all the syllabus related to exams and also give some important topics to study before exams.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college offers on and off-campus internships also. The college always shares such internship details on a college group to update each and every student.

Placement Experience

There are lots of placement opportunities in the final year. TPO of the college manages all the placement drives very well and according to student opinions. Terna arranges pre-placement training from the third year to make it easy for the students to get placed easily. Terna's placement rate is very high.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is well organised and there are also scholarships and free-ships for caste students. So there no such loads of fees. There are lots of placements opportunities in last year and college gives pre-placement training from the third year to get placements easily.

Campus Life

There are two annual fests "Antarang" and "Resonance" held in March of every year. These fests are so enjoyable. Also, there are various sports competitions are organized in college, Terna has its own large football and cricket ground on campus. Tech fest is also held in the month of March. The library has all books available all the time. There is one day from the week assigned to each department for the books issue and return process. Terna has a huge reading room which very nice and comfortable for the study.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I applied for this college bcoz I want ai&ds branch and this branch is available in this college. And i checked all colleges nearby me so in thane there were no colleges were look good or has that much facilities shown in google and in central line there are some colleges but they has minority like Muslim, gujrati, christian and all in western line it will be far too regular travelling bcoz of family concern they not ready for hostel so I have to go for new mumbai colleges bcoz my relatives also live there so they concern me to check thane or new mumbai side college so in new mumbai that time I see only that college has those branch and my percentile of cet that time was 85 percentile something so in first list i got selected for sc ladies seat in those branch there are only 1 seat for ladies in those category so I got this so I thought it would be ok so I freeze those seat and get a admission by admission process in college so basically i didn't get rejected by any college. But that time while admission there are restrictions that only online payment will accepted so that time my family wasn't use online payment we was prefering cash so we have to request relatives to pay via online and then we give them cash so that part was terrifying And there are so many processes while admission 1st time.and not that all process in one floor another floors with another classrooms that was headache part bcoz we are with our parents that time .
