Our college is governed by vice chancellor. No political party is allowed. Developmnt grows day by day.

The course structure is based on CBCS. There is a focus on research. University helds exam in a gap of 6 months ( Semester wise). There is total 6 semesters in 3 years. You have to submit assignments. There is also educational tours organized by our college.

No my college does not provide any internship or job but they prepare us for SSC, NET, SET etc job related exams. Some students applies for masters degree after completing college.

Our college holds seminars and exibitions on verious topics every year. Inter college sports events is being held in our college. Students take part in inter college mock - parliament. There is also annual prize distribution ceremony held by our college.

The fee is not too high. As I have previously mentioned you have to pay 1200 rupees for admission. Afer that you have to pay 1000-2000 rupees per year as an exam and tution fee. Our college provides student scholarship. Poor students get discount on these fees.

Our college provides scholarship for meritorious students which is 5000 per student. You can also apply for loans.

We have a college library with a huge collection of books. We have a reading room for study. There is also labs for science and geography students. We have a play ground. College campus is environment friendly. It is a government sponsored and constituent college of Burdwan University.

There are hostels for both boys and girls within the college campus. All infrastructural facilities are Good. Seat limit is 150 each. For the boys the hostel fee is 3875 and for girls it is 6275 rupees per month.

Notable alumnis: Pranab Mukherjee (ex - president of india), Tulsi Giri (ex- prime minister of Nepal).

You have to pass Higher Secondary exam, then you can apply online for admission. Admission will be based on merit list. The admission fee is 1200 rupees which you have to pay through online while you fill up the form. Academic session generally stars in August.

Our college faculty is very good. Professors are highly qualified. They solve doubts skilfully. I personally feel if you pay attention to the class you can make maximum out of them. They maintain a good discipline. Teacher-student relation is also good. They treat us like their own son.
