Remarks
Good thing is college is not too strict on students. Good environment, pleasing teachers, good friends. Bad thing is management is somewhat not very student friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview
Fair and professional. There will be internal exams and at end of each semester there will be University exams. The total marks obtained for internal exam in 50 plus University marks counts for passing. For passing we require 75. Minimum we require 40 marks for University exam to pass so 40 marks plus internal 35 makes 75.
Placement Experience
I don't get any placements as I have arrears. One girl from our batch got placement. But even then there was little opportunities as it was 2010, the IT department was gradually overcoming recession that time.
College Events
College tests, Prayan, etc. College arts and sports festival is celebrated every year and we students are celebrating it wholeheartedly. There is joy and sometimes there will be quarrel among students. Nevertheless we enjoyed this. There will be exhibitions also conducted from part of students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Gov merit seat was ok that time 38600, management was a little higher they charges around 75000, but even then the fees was not very considerably higher compared with other colleges. There will be charges for transportation also if we opt for college bus.
Fees and Financial Aid
No as there is not a great fee for me as I was given admission to college on merit seat. No scholarship available for me as I was very bad in my study.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is 1:1. 25 boys vs girls for our course. No politics in our college. There was no such religious enforcement. The college atmosphere was calm and quiet and neat. Quality of college is good and the environment is calming. Lota of trees and the beautiful Sashtamcotta lake surrounds our college.
Hostel Facilities
No because I am a day scholar, there is not much distance from my house from college. I can go with my bike or by local bus. We will get ST if we have valid identity card in local bus. Approximately 1 hours of journey from my home to college.
Alumni/Alumna
Some of the alumni students had a get together recently through zoom. We are really glad to meet again and people are in various positions now. We as alumni are extending our help towards college in every possible ways.
Admission
By entrance merit list, reason I choose this college because few of my school friends are studying in this college. One friend named Roshen insisted on joining this college. Also my school friends Shaan and Vishnu were already studying in this college. They had good review about college.
Faculty
Some faculty are good and some are not. There are many good faculties like John taragan of chemistry, Manoj sir in EC and Reena Ma'am in mathematics, Shine sir and Anju miss is good too. But there are some faculties who doesn't care for a students study they will give photocopy and ask students to study themselves.
