Perfect college for a wholesome experience

I am currently a third-year IT student here. This reverent institute is a part of the Somaiya Trust which is very well respected for its quality education and philanthropic activities. The admission process is fairly easy with the college people always there to provide assistance. The fees are also pretty low when compared to other colleges, 1,50,000 per year. They provide us with industry internships every year.

Almost all the faculties of the IT department are doctorates. They are always encouraging us to excel academically and develop our soft skills. They provide project opportunities to the students under their guidance and are always organizing seminars conducted by highly respected industry experts. The exams are pretty easy because the faculties are able to impart immense knowledge properly and when the students take self-studying seriously.

The college organizes industry-based internships giving us problem statements to build a software or a website.

The students become eligible for companies in the 7th semester with 20 companies like Mu-sigma, NSE, Vodafone, Jio, Accenture, etc. coming to visit with offers ranging from 3.5 to 10 Lacs per annum. 80% of students get placed every year.

The fee per year is Rs.1,50,000. Scholarships are provided to the needy. Almost 80% of the students are placed every year. Companies like Mu-Sigma, Accenture, Jio, Vodafone, NSE, LTE, etc. provide students with packages ranging from 3.5 to 10 Lacs per annum. The Training and Placement Cell of the college prepares us thoroughly for the aptitudes and interviews.

The technical fest "Renaissance" is conducted every year in the odd semester and the sports and cultural fest "Score & Surge" are conducted in the even semester. There is a well-stocked library with books ranging from novels to technology. Facilities to play sports like football (turf), carrom, chess, table tennis, cricket, etc. are also provided. A gym for fitness fanatics is also provided. Several technical committees (CSI, IEEE, ISTE, ACS, etc), cells like Robotic Cell, NSA, etc. and the committee for the magazine "AURA" is also present.
