Remarks

They need to improve a lot and upgrade the teaching staff and workshops are so bad they need to upgrade each and every building in our campus. And fees is the biggest challenge to middle class people.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum is so bad that, even if u have interest in particular course u cant opt it because of lack of teaching staff and lack of knowledge and communication skills for lecturers. Exam structure is poor, easily copyable. Less number of students get good cgpa in each semester and poor exam process Industrial specific knowledge, it is good. They teach us what we have to do in industry and companies.

Placement Experience

1.5

Companies visited our college : TATA, HONDA, TVS, PFIZER, HYUNDAI, etc. Percentage of students get selected : 4 to 8 % out of 100%. There is particular group whom our college administrators hire to teach us, and prepare us for campus placements.

College Events

1.5

Sangarsh (technical). Kalakruthi (technical and cultural). Gustav carnival (technical and cultural). Most of the students participate into these only for sale of certificate and coupons. Only 15% of students participate honestly and interestingly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very expensive. For my course, amount I pay each year is 250000/- Rs. This much amount cant be afforded by middle class family. And only 1 installment, and no discounts on merit seats, everyone has to pay 250000rs of amount. Tuition fees is 2240000 and admission and special fee is 26000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, nearly 2500 to 3500 rupees per month up to a period of 3 months to topper of each sections. Procedure: just we need to visit the department, provide income tax return certificate Xerox, and adhar card and college ID Xerox.

Campus Life

4

In my course(mechanical) gender ratio is 2:35. Each month/ week nearly 1 to 2 workshops are conducted by any of the departments. And debates are available only in cultural events time. Ethnicity is given more provisions and dress code is very important.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors do help juniors. But most of them help in negative manner like, giving suggestions 1) about opting a theoretical subject to score high marks. 2)giving false information/ neglecting answers about exam and courses.

Admission

I opted this course because of personal interest. I opted this college because there was a talk or reputation like "this college has higher chances of getting recruited to companies and students with good cgpa get easily get selected to campus placements" but later I came to know it is just 50% chance. They gave me spot admission based on my 12th mark's. Just minimum paper work, that's all it needs.

Faculty

2

In my course less number of lectures are having Phd qualifications, and many lectures are poor in communication (English). All lecturers are Mark's oriented and teach only" how to get Marks". If I speak about knowledge of the subject, they are not good in it, and due to lack of communication skill, students always face problem in understanding the concept and subjects.

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
