The course is full of curriculum activities. Moot courts, mediations, arbitrations etc are held at appropriate time. Seminars and presentations are a part of exams. You have to create research papers and project reports in order to attain marks in internal assessments and then there are the semester exams of 80 marks. Overall score will be created cumulating both the scores.

College is having a placement cell which invites many multinational companies for recruitment of the final year students and they get a good package varying on the academic scores and interviewer. The college sends the final year students for the internships. The internships are free of cost.

There are various national level fest organised by university including sports, cultural, legal awareness, technological awareness. Etc. There are many concerts of popular singers. Your college life will be full of enjoyment. Apart from these the respective departments will also held many fest.

Fee structure is feasible for some and expensive for some courses. Demand drafts are to be submitted in the departments in which you’re admitted, recently online paying portal have also been created by university administration. The self funded departments fees is more than other departments but the self funded departments are very less in Panjab university.

No. I haven’t availed for any scholarship or education loan. As it is a government university the fees in most of the courses is very less so there’s not a need to take any education loan. Except for the self- funded departments the fees is a bot high from thr university funded departments.

There are almost 83 departments in Panjab University. And about 18000 students are studying in the main campus. Student politics, cultural societies are everywhere in each department. And it is considered that female gender contributes about 70% of the total population in the university. The environment in university is safe and studious.

No. Hostels are cheap and good for students coming from not so well families. As the hostel fees is not so much and quality is worth it. You’ll have wifi, gym, barber, tailor, washerman, mess facility within the hostel.

Seniors are helpful and provide us with the notes and clears every doubt we have regarding the working of college. Being a fresher you know nothing about the college management seniors will always come forward for your help. They’re very friendly.

The admission is based on entrance/ merit based includes 50% of class 12 score and 50% of the entrance score joining both will provide a merit score. And the total seats are 180 then students falling in the merit will get admission into the college. You need to carry the original copies of all your documents.

There are almost 6 lectures a day and have to maintain minimum 75% of attendance. So the teachers will be coming regularly to the class. Most of the teachers and having doctorate in their following subjects. The teachers are having a great experience and provides the full clarity of any topic. As me being a law student our many teachers are practising advocates in High Court.
