Remarks

Overall, I think it's a good place to come if you have a rank not to high or too low and you are struggling to find a good college at yr rank. Come to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Exams structure is rigid for first two years and then you start having electives from 3rd year onwards and the kind of projects you is entirely depends on you. so if you are looking to open yr own company then you can start working on it and show cases those in the review pannel or if you want to impress companies and choose projects which are in demand.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement as I mentioned is quite considerable. You get exposure to a lot of start up as well as established companies with salaries ranging from 3. 75 to 27 lacs. And exceptional 42 lacs also. If you get hired in your 7th semester then internship in the same company is most mandatory in 8th sem. And also in the end of 6th semester we are also required to do an internship of our own liking. You will not be provided with any support on that. Internship hunting is entirly on you. It's a good thing. Let's you be prepared on how to job hunt on yr own.

College Events

4.5

Our culture fest varies whole year long. Naming a few are Dandiya night, fresher welcome party, fashion shows(quite a few of them infact), and one annual fest which last for like 2-3 days. These fest are mostly decided my our college students and funding and all is also taken care by student representatives. We have so many clubs to join in into. Entry into such clubs are based on interviews or certain test and exams.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well if I had to put it into any consideration, then I would say, including college curriculum and hostel fees it is the best deal you can get. College rooms are comfortable and spacious enough. Includes gym and swimming pools and on other hand if we talk about studies I would say that tuition fees is justified. (Coming from a person whose family is upper middle class so thought on this can vary).

Fees and Financial Aid

Nope. I didn't get any. There is no scholarship as far as I remember. I am not entirely sure if you can get it or not if you get good grades.

Campus Life

4

Gender diversity is quite great. I would say in my time in the college I had only met good people and I agree our college comous doesn't have much to do in but I assure you you won't have time to do stupid things. And I am not talking about playing games and all. Becoz they are not stupid. We infact have a sports meet /event also. Cricket, boxing, badminton, basket ball, football and long tennis tabel tennis are few which are considered in competitions. And then comes mind games too. you will be busy I assure you. A lot to do. in so little time you have here.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes. Hostel rooms are on shared basis. Each room has only two people living in it. Washrooms are washed and cleaned regularly. And mess food is really not that bad as theorised in the movies. sometimes I dare say that it tasted really good.

Alumni/Alumna

In college I can tell, there was nothing like ragging and all. If it's a thing still then its not in this college. Seniors are really helpful and were our best friends atleast in 1st year. As I said earlier I met really good people. And I absolutely can't generalise. So there is that.

Admission

Given JEE mains, according to merit list, courses were assigned, if interested in the course offered at your given rank then join the college. Rank less than 70000 should ensure that you get atleast CSE or IT in the college, the orther two braches offered by JIIT noida are electronic communications and engineering and biotechnology.

Faculty

3.5

Most of the faculty is quite friendly and encourage you to meet them on online platforms and as well as one on one in the faculty room. There are like 42 lectures or core subjects and atleast 13 labs each lecture is mostly 1 hour long. Attendance is compulsory. But keeping a high percentage attandance is also not necessary. acceptable is 70% atleast. Few of the lectures, whose courses are important in real life job hunting are really good. Hence the journey in college makes it worth your while.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
