Good college in coimbatore

It has uniforms, and syllabus is outdated as it is affiliated with Anna university.

This comes under anna university and I feel this is pretty average, not upto current trends and its outdated. Exams concentrates more on theoretical rather than practicals. I can't say it's a research driven college, thought the name stands contrary to it but it's not a research driven.

Placement is pretty good actually for a young college like us, as I said we are under the umbrella of brand PSG, When I had placements 60+ companies visited Tier 1 15+ Tier 2 30+ Others tier 3 Companies came for psgtech also came for us, we both appear as one to the companies visiting.

Yuktaha - national level technical symposiums. Ted like talking shows, we invite guest from various domains to give a speech for the students. Cultural events, celebrating arts among the students. Annual events, conducting tech and fun competitions intracollege and achievements speech and all festival.

Very much feasible if you have the right score. College is offering merit seats and management seats. Merit is for both cbse and state board. For management courses they will conduct a interview to limit the quantity. Merit seats are through anna university Counselling. There is no advance like any other colleges, but 30k+/year than merit.

No I had not, but my friends did, some of them are from backward classes or first degree classes, thier fees are less than half of our merit fees.

Gender ratio is almost 50% each or 60-40 girls and boys in cse, ece, eee, mech and civil boys are more. Sports is good, Infact I am a football player and won a tournament. There are many athletics events, volley ball, throwball, all indoor games. The debates for cultural is good Technical debates never happened.

No I have not, but I been in hostel for some days. We have to pay 200 per day and night. Hostep is too big, rooms are pretty big and modern, my friends hates hostile food. It's good but can't eat the same items all the time.

We have the best alumni network, so this is a young college but the parent college has built a huge reliable network.

We can apply to this college even before the results, but only for management seats. Which we have to pay more than normal merit seats, not very large scale comparing others, yearly 40k+ than merit fees, The merit seats are filled by counselling seats.

In my department which is cse, teachers are particularly friendly, we had a lovely HOD, Dr. hamsapriya, the best, trust me I'm a backbecher yet she's the best in handling students like her own, my department is the coolest, always fun but productive too. All because of our faculty. They encourage us to do more, guide more. Eg harikrishna, sabari ram helped us a lot outside syllabus. I think teaching is not the best, but it' was quite good I will blame the outdated syllabus for this set back.
