Remarks

This institute is a trend setter in the industry and i owe all my campus placements to my college and how it has helped me grow up to the professional i am today.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

the course is very industry driven and designed to help students adapt to the changing trends in the hospitality sector. It helps the students to gradually convert themselves from regular teenagers to groomed and well spoken professionals with good knowledge of the industry. so much attention is given to grooming and personality development that an individual is very well adapted to the amount of professionalism needed in the industry. Utmost attention id given to punctuality and the course material is designed and curated by industry veterans. the curriculum has one semester allotted to industrial training where a student undergoes moths of internship at a 5 star property and the evaluation of the semester is based on a presentation on the training by an external. placement is very dependent on the basics taught in 1st year and on the communication skills of the student.

Placement Experience

4

Since it is one of the top 3 institutes in the country, the placement is the best in the industry. In an average placement season around 40 companies visit the college and the placement is divided between Retail and Hotel. Few of the notable companies are ITC, OBEROI, TAJ, HYAT, CINEPOLIS, RELIANCE,STARBUCKS, PUMA, CLUB MAHINDRA, ETC.Most companies start with group discussion followed by a PI round. the final round of many companies take place in the company headquarters but many give the result by the end of the day. astonishingly more than 95% of the students secure a job during the campus season. special communication and training classes organised by the college to take into account the weaker students.

College Events

3

Since people from all over the country come to the college, it celebrates almost all major festivals in the campus. Various food fests are organised on collaboration with the ministry of tourism such as " DEKHO APNA DESH ". Gourmet Night, eastern India's biggest food fest is organised by the students of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is made by the counsel and it is around 4 lakhs for 3 years. The fees is paid semester wise through online portal with the convenience of Net Banking, debit card, Pytm, Gpay all available. The fees breakup is provide in the beginning of the session and is very transparent

Fees and Financial Aid

scholarships are provided in terms of the state government to the backward class students. i have no sholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is similar to any technical college. but life in fun in the hostel. we have dorm parties and it usually too much fun and they last till the morning. weekends are the best. The gender ration in our college is actually very good and people from all race and religion come and live in harmony. LGBTQ members also stay in your hostels and have no problem whatsoever. Party politics is not allowed as it is a central government institute, but the presidential elections are fun and tense.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel in provided on the basis of rank and i was lucky enough to get hostel accommodation. 1 and second years live in sharing rooms with 3 people in one room. each student gets a table, a chair and a huge cupboard. the rooms are big and airy with 3 fans. final year students get individual rooms. There is one central mess run by the students. Our hostels are in campus and have well a equipped gym. the hostel fees is 20 thousand a year.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of this college is the USP of the institute. Most general managers and prominent persons in the industry are from our college and will be very wrong if i fail to acknowledge the positive impact it has during our campus season.

Faculty

4

most faculty members are ex industry professionals and not just academics with no industry experience. At least years of industry experience is preferred for the post of an assistant professor and then you climb up the hierarchy with experience and internal evaluation.

Placement Experience:

Most of students get more than 2 placements. They placement is over in 1 Month and now a lot of students are being placed in Europe, USA, Mauritius with a very good package. They are also placing students in Retails, FMCG, Entertainment and other areas. But i think the fee that we pay, we can get back only in third year when students can go for Internship, as they can earn more than 6-7 Lakhs and palcements is just too good.
