Remarks
One of the reasons I joining KJSIEIT is placement, KJSIEIT has 98% of placement record and another is the number of facilities. We get from campus like library we can borrow book up to 2 months that means we don't need to buy any book for curriculum, WIFI, boys common room with table tennis table where we can relax after the end of the day. There is no donation scheme at KJSIEIT, students can enrol in by various scheme, I was admitted under Gujarati Linguistic Minority, Direct Government Portal, Institute level admission round.
Course Curriculum Overview
Currently, now I am in my third year at IT department, the reason I choose IT department is KJSIEIT has separate Nature Inspired Building you can find it on its website which is dedicated to IT department and Riedl (Research group of Somaiya Trust). Faculty Student ratio is fair enough it is 70 students, 9 teachers. 3 of them are PHD holder and 4 of them are PhD pursuing. Term exams are there twice in each semester, and guidance regarding that is provided, along with remedial lectures.
Placement Experience
As I have said placement at KJSIEIT as per record is 98%, and there are lot of companies which offer students having package range from 5 to 8 lacs, the average is 4-5 lac and lowest is 3.15 lac.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure as of now is about 130000 to 145000. But there is so many scholarships you can avail one of them is EBC almost your fees will reduce to half the amount above. Another is for minority community fees is reduces by 25000/-.
Campus Life
Annually there are two fests one is technical which happens at Odd semester and festive one at Even semester, KJSIEIT has a big campus where lots of sports activity is taking place annually it has Football ground, basketball ground, Cricket ground etc. Classrooms are well equipped with all modern amenities like WIFI, Projector, mic etc.
