Course Curriculum Overview

Course is well defined on how innovation is changing the world across various industries depending upon the need for changes. The exams are conducted in semesters basis and on the basis of credit points for each year.

Placement Experience

Internships are available in CIC. Hindu, KPMG, Samsung and other renowned companies visit us for selecting interns for their projects. The HR committee helps us in registering for the same. The average salary is usually 35-40000.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is 5,000 per semester with 1000 rs as security deposits one time for library which is refunded. Total fees for 4 years is 40,000. There is no hostel and food and transportation facilities available here.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are less. We have events like seminars and speeches by senior members of different subjects in companies. Other discipline related issues are handled by a separate team. Industry tours and workshop are held frequently.

Admission

This is an initiative from University of Delhi. Any student who has got 60% marks in SSLC can apply. Shortlisted Students should fill out the application form and undergo the interview on the suggested date.

Faculty

The faculties of this new initiative are selected across colleges and the research knowledge they have. Every professors here are veterans of research methods and processes. The professors provide how innovation research has to done.

FOT DU - A chance?

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is amazing . You didn't have to study chemistry and engineering graphics for first year. The C language will introduce in first sem for all branches. Curriculum is specifically designed to meet the future needs. The VAC AND GE subjects are nice but they should'nt have kept the exams for these subjects. You can also do minor in other enginnering branches in second year. The exams timings are worst. They understand the students as robots, hope they will fix this issue.

Placement Experience:

Students sit for placements in the 7th Semester. The placements are great with companies like Microsoft, Adobe and Facebook coming to campus. The highest package can go up to 80 LPA while the lowest packaged offered in IT was 4.5 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placements are between average and good. There are total 300 companies that come for placements. The core companies usually come at around 8 LPA to 15 LPA, and th tech companies come at 15 LPA to 45LPA. The non tech companies come at 10 LPA to 25 LPA. Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. The placements season lasts for 144 days. The students become eligible for internship form the end of 4th semester. My plans after getting the degree are two way. The short term plan is to do a job in core and in the long run, build my business.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester, students are eligible to sit in the placement drive. There are plenty of good companies that every student dreams of visiting our college. Almost the same companies visit NSUT, which goes to DTU or IIIT or IITs(Packages could be lower than IITs). Students can apply for any sort of company whether its a tech domain or nontech or core domain. The no. of core companies is quite less than dtu and IITs but the no. of tech companies is higher than dtu. The placement percentage has significantly reduced to 42% in past years. The average package is around 10 lpa.

A Glimpse of DTU

Placement Experience:

Like ig from 5th sem(3rd year) students can apply for internships. Famous companies that visit campus are- Apple,Google, Microsoft,IBM,Amazon etc Highest offers made were 1.2 CR (international package)... much data is not shared publicly so how many students were given that package is not known. Average package of software engineering is near about 20LPA rest it always stay above 18LPA. In tech branches almost 80%-90% students get placed Mp will get a job in other country after this degree

my college experience

Placement Experience:

from 3rd year end means 6th semester students can get pre placement offers. companies like microsoft,HCL TECNOLOGIES, accenture, jaguar land rover india limited, McKinsey & company, and many more. around 1300 offers were made and 260 ppo were give and there are 30 international offers. in 2023 highest package of iit delhi is 2.5 crper annum. and the average package is of about 20.5lpa. around 89% of students get placed in 2023. my plans after geting degree is to crack upsc or ssc like exam.

DTU is one of best college for engineering in Delhi.

Placement Experience:

Placement is great in DTU almost 70% students gets selected in good companies.Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester (i.e. 4th year). 2024 placement session is currently going on but in 2023 the placement for technical branches was more than 80%. Our past recruiter includes companies like google, Microsoft, SanDisk, Flipkart, Amazon and many more big companies. The last year maximum package was 82 lpa and average package for tech companies was around 20lpa

Dreams and Ambitions are fulfilled at Cluster Innovation Centre

Hello! I am Abitatha Roy, a student at Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi, enrolled in the B.Tech Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations (4 years) course. In order to be eligible for this course, one has to score about 55-60% marks in their Class 12 board exams. The entrance exam accepted is CUET UG (English + Maths + General Test). No interview is conducted. However, I personally feel that an interview round should be conducted to be able to screen out students and successfully take in a creamier layer among the applicants.
