The college has many committees working in different areas apart from regular academic activity that enhance and nurture the potential of students. Some committees have national and international recognition like IEEE, IET, IETE, Google Student Club. The college also organizes many events and workshops to develop industrial skills of the students. The faculties help and encourage the students to do various industrial projects and take part in technical conferences and national competitions.

As a student in BE Information Technology, the curriculum was well-tailored as per the requirements of an upcoming IT Engineer in the industry. The faculties are good at teaching the concepts and the department has a separate infrastructure for labs to give hands-on tech exposure.

Each department provides it's own in house internships to students during summer or winter vacations. These train the students from all skills necessary in the industry and guide them in making a project towards its completion. Some internships collaborate with startups and industries which benefit the portfolio of students.

The college provides good campus placements where the packages range from 3.5 LPA to 15 LPA on an average. Placements usual start at the 7th semester. The college provides finishing school to gear up students preparation for placements and also keeps in house internships for all semesters to enhance Industrial experience of students.

There are many events like technical, sports and cultural festival organized in college. Apart from these the students in various committees also keep organizing guest lectures, workshops and hackathons to engage the students in various skills outside their academic exposure. The college has an amazing library that is collaborated with other libraries in the Somaiya Network. Many facilities are given to students from the library including getting on-demand books, access to various journals and premium IEEE papers portal, NPTEL lectures and much more.
