Remarks

Very poor patient input, no improvement in the hospital admisnistration from past 10 years. excellent faculty available but problem is of the administrator who just wants money from students doesn't want to improve any facilities in the hospital.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Mbbs is not a fancy course though I had felt so u need to be definitely having many good contact good seniors to guide which I lacked and hard work is very essential though passing is not very tough as many pass by studying 2 -3 months before exam the toughest is the neet or next exam where you'll regret as why you chose mbbs as the profession

Placement Experience

1

0 RS stipend the college doesn't pay u a penny though you should work like a donkey. but it's seen with many Pvt colleges so not a problem to be raised and you definitely won't get stipend even if you are PMs son or daughter. so forget and just plan how to stop the expenses rather prevent extra looting of money

College Events

1.5

Least interested in such things I wanted to get off as college is very strict in attendance used to bunk these events and go out. though attended few fests we're very good but the college spends the least budget and hence if you are willing to spend your own money show your talent and appreciate your talent go for it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea regarding this approach some bank but nowadays there are so many mbbs students I dono if you can get a seat with loan. but taking mgt seat is not at all worth so if you want to settle early go for better course

Alumni/Alumna

Not a part of any alumni just glad that came out of such a college. nothing to remember as memory apart from the friends and memories we had nothing specific about college. though there is a group

Admission

I had joined mbbs bcoz It was just fate nothing else. I joined mvj so I could commute daily there is no interview or anything. only through neet. I don't know any other ways though the rich ppl get into the college without merit just with eligibility

Faculty

3.5

Faculty when I was studying was very good but I din make very well use of them and they were also fed up seeing the very less patient input and lack of support from the administration to provide essential services and lack of development of the hospital services. but of you are self driven you can make the atmost use of all the faculties

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is great. It is followed as per RGUHS ( Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) guidelines. There are currently RS4, RS5 and RS6 curriculums. Each curriculum is different in it's own way. The pattern of subjects, exams and NEXT exam has changed as per each year and curriculum.

I feel really blessed to treat patients and save someone's life. This made me take this field. College makes us be thorough in both theory and practical field. We have sessionals for evey 3 months and we have to take 50 percent in annual exam to clear every year. Community medicine posting helps us to interoggate with patients or any family.
