Course Curriculum Overview

It's about semester and 4 exams every year conducted,in which 2 are from college side and 2 are from University. The university exam is mainly considered. Exam mainly contain theory part and practical part.

Placement Experience

Placement is about 50 to 70 %. Companies like tcs, wipro, tech. Mahindra, Sap, bhilwara etc visit every year for on and off campus interview. Average package is 2 lakh. college didn't provide internship. Instead we had job training which is not that much helpful as companies didn't take that certificate as a professional course.

College Events

DSPMU do events like fresher day, teachers day, farewell, convocation, cultural fest, job fest, rangoli competition, out door sports and indoor sports.our college also take part in inter University sports meet as well as culture event and there college also celebrate annual college fest every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provide scholarships for bpl obc and st/sc students and also helps to get scholarships approved by state government.however there is load facilities available in college because of very less college fee.

Admission

Through counselling conducted by university and will be selected accordingly on basis of merit in meet exam. After that we need to register in the college and fill the details, admission form,fee structure.

Faculty

Faculty for our course are well educated and experienced, having good skills to teach in a different but effective way so that each and every student understand that.but almost all faculty were not familiar with latest or trending syllabus.

placement facility in the college is very poor , only few companies come for the placement and only few students placed , but the if we consider the average package of the college then it is aroun 3 lakh per annum

Actually biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program where we have to learn mostly the practical skills but there is no such equipment for doing a decent type of research work as they are not in a working condition. So first it has to be corrected and new equipment should have to buy for a making a good laboratory.

A Transformative Journey : My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

BITM is known for great placements. Campus placement is good . Average package is 15 lpa. CS -19 lpa Mnc- 15 lpa Ece- 15lpa Mech- 10lpa BITM offer better placement than most of NITs. Many students crack off campus placement. CS highest- 1.86cr MNC highest- 89lpa.

Because I made my mind so clear and I was interested in coding. Faculty of Information technology department is far good and their management system is nice they guide us in a far easier way. The student ratio is 100 : 50-50 The teaching methods on this pandemic is now online but the teachers put their efforts in a way for good. In terms of exams, the IT department is smart and they conduct in the priority of students best possible way so all the students can may appear their exams properly.

St. Columbas college Is the best in my city

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am chosen this course because mathematics is my strongest subject from all of the others that's why I can choose mathematics. Faculty member of our college is very supportive but some of the teachers are very rude behaviour. Our college teachers are very disciplined about teaching and any project work. My class have 250 students. Every semester our college takes mid sem exam then a viva exam, assignment on every paper, group discussion, surprise test. The exam pattern was based on their classes. The exam pattern is moderate most times.

Remarks:

Positive: Good staff, your work will be finished in a day or in two days. Negative: There are group of aggressive students active in campus but don't worry they don't problem for you until you mesh with them. Also there in lack of proper classes and study in regular order.
