Remarks
The need of better infrastructure and a more developed campus is there. the college manages a camp for underprivileged thallasemia children who come for treatments from far fetched lands. This work from the college is well decorated and recognized.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows the course curriculum of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University. Frankly speaking, the syllabus is a bit laid back for these kind of advanced science subjects. But the faculties makes up for it and keeps you informed of the newer topics.
Internships Opportunities
No. The college doesn't provide internships but students can find their own if they want to. I did a couple of internships both of which were non paid and i did them only for certification. Also the college doesn't provide NOC's easily so it becomes difficult.
Placement Experience
On this particular subject, there are usually no jobs available right after graduation, you have to pursue further studies. The college however, gives placements after M.Sc. and you can get a job as an assistant lab technician in the college itself if you study good.
College Events
The college celebrates various events like National youth day, National science day, Independence and republic day, sports day, and ofcourse the Fresher's party and The Farewell party. The Fresher's and the farewell parties are organized by the students of the college and not the authority.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college authority foes assist in case of loan taking matters and there is a certain scholarship facilitu available which is if you attain a particular criteria of marks in your master's, the college will fund you for Phd in Germany.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong and they manage to keep in touch. The seniors always assist the juniors in case of career or studies. They share a beautiful relationship and the students co exists in a very peaceful manner like a family.
Admission
I had to visit their campus. Then we went to the office where the president reviewed my 10th and 12th marks and asked me some questions. After i was approved, i was given a tour of the college campus. We came back and filled up the admission form and deposited the fees.
Faculty
The faculty is one of the most decorated in West Bengal for these subjects. They are experienced, friendly and helping in nature which makes the learning process more interesting and easier. The faculty is one of the most strongest point of this college.
